personally I think One Piece shoulda won it. Easily one of the beat stories in anime.Demon Slayer won it?
I mean it's an ok anime but it felt lacking. There's a lot better in my opinion. If anything Violet Evergarden would be my choice to win that stuff.
Looked at the rest and saw Konosuba winning best isekai. *sighs*
Just quoting this because it got bottom paged.Alright folks. I'm looking for a few Pokemon to trade for.
Croagunk, Sableye, Oranguru, Drampa, Spritzee
I will trade pretty much anything for them. Just be a little reasonable.
Just came back from school, how about you?So.... what's everyone up to today?
Middle. Playing some old Ben 10 games from my childhood.Just came back from school, how about you?
Have to both agree and disagree with on the Isekai bit. While I do agree that it has seriously became saturated and most don't need any hint of another world aspect (Rising of the Shield Hero, Overlord) or are seriously not using the Isekai part great enough (Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash, Saga of Tanya the Evil). But no, we have to have all of the anime genres I despise win awards(I legit hate the trend of anime Isekai because of how many there are and most of them aren’t super interesting anyway.)
i literally dislike every anime you mentioned there.Have to both agree and disagree with on the Isekai bit. However I do think when Isekai gets good, they become really amazing. Reincarnated as a Slime, Konosuba and if you took out the fanservice, No Game No Life for example.
As what I would my favourite isekai show is, it's Re;Zero. One of only four anime has truly impressed me and would at least 9/10.
Until there is an anime story that has something like guy gets summoned to a fantasy world and is allowed to back to Earth for a bit, only for World War III to occur while he was away, I don't think Isekai is going to impress me again after the few I mentioned.
What about slice of life or even action, not even into those?i literally dislike every anime you mentioned there.

nada, nothing. What about slice of life or even action, not even into those?
If you're not averse to older anime then 'Aura Battler Dunbine' (1983, 49 episodes) might be something to look into as the broad outline of it's story is extremely similar to your hypothetical synopsis (like it's borderline word-for-word the same), it's generally regarded as a classic in mecha-anime devotee circles but sees scant attention outside it (of course that may be down to its age). Funnily enough the series wasn't particularly popular when it first aired as the Japanese audiences of the time were rather turned off by its isekai elements (oh the irony...).Until there is an anime story that has something like guy gets summoned to a fantasy world and is allowed to back to Earth for a bit, only for World War III to occur while he was away, I don't think Isekai is going to impress me again after the few I mentioned.
Yeah I'm just completing my dex. I'm at 390 right now. Just tag me when you're ready. Are these all Shield exclusives? If you're just looking to fill in the dex/aren't worried about IVs/Natures etc then I can potentially trade over a few of these (I think I have a Spritzee and Maybe a Croagunk) - though it'll probably have to wait a few hours
I heard y'all talking about anime what's up

Interesting. One Piece; I've been following the series weekly (well, the manga, but I'd say it still counts) for over ten years now, and it's a great mix of action, comedy, and storytelling that hasn't gone downhill in all of that time. (most long-running anime series seem to go downhill at some point)Favourite anime - go!
Literally no questionInteresting. I'll add to it the list.
Favourite anime - go!
Some of those are very long though and that's the only problem I do have with anime as I know some are based off manga/web or light novels and risk overstaying their welcome. It makes me worry about the production quality sometimes.I feel like I should branch out, though; I've mainly been following action series, with most of them being from Shonen Jump. (Dragon Ball, Naruto, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Fist of the North Star, My Hero Academia, Eyeshield 21, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, etc.) The few big exceptions for me have been Digimon, One Punch Man (still a Shueisha series, but not a weekly one), and Fairy Tail.
I think out of these I have oranguru, drampa, and maybe aromatise. I’m not Online atm but if there’s anything from those your missing after gyro I should be on later.
One Piece. I've liked it a lot since I started following it in 2014. It's brimming with creativity and well written moments, and it's provided me with several of my favorite characters in fiction.Favourite anime - go!
Fullmetal Alchemist because it is the only anime I have ever finished. I watched a bit of My Hero Academia and Pop Team Epic, but that’s it.Favourite anime - go!
I intend on watching more of My Hero Academia because... Kellen Goff.I'm seeing a good bit of One Piece and FMA. Damn.
Anyone still watching anime, like in the past week or so? I finished watching Fire Force the other say and watching the Re;Zero Director's Cut as well. Kaguya-sama or New Game! is probably next, being into slice of life.
