That’s basically it, yes.

Figured as much.

Sabi's already untrustworthy enough as is, and someone claiming to have ties with her isn't any better, especially with how wishy-washy they always came across with the "I can't say anything..." or "I'm supposed to keep quiet..."

If you have info that you're not supposed to talk about, then you don't even bring it up.

What Fatman was doing is basically mess the context of stuff Sabi posted and change it just enough to force a Smash connection into it (the Starling picture for example).

Not defending Sabi on this regard, but it was sadly something quite worse than sharing information that didn’t have to be spread.

:ultbowser:- rework his model’s color palette and eyes so they resemble his Mario series counterpart
:ultsonic: - lengthen his spines and put more effort into his expressions more like how he was in Brawl
:ultshulk: - unpuff his face a bit
:ultpokemontrainerf: - lose the Muppet mouth
:ultmegaman: : I already like how he looks, since he's based on the NES sprites in particular. but I wouldn't mind it if his eyes matched the hand drawn artwork as opposed to the middle ground of artwork/sprite style that he has now, but still with the cool screen effect. Basically smaller pupils. Beef him up a bit like Mega Man 7's version too.
:ultsamus:: Give her the Metroid Prime costume as her base.

And now Fatman's claim of hearing it was Namco has been shot to hell to by the big V-ben.

You’ve seen Spiderverse right?
Yeah, I've seen it but it took me a minute to recognize Peni outside of the movie.

...I really should've picked up on it being Spider-Man related since it was a response to my Maguire post, though.

It truly is.

I’ve been dreading to bring up all the stuff that went on at Sabicord and Forest Maze during my presence back then because while there were a few good moments... Most of it was pretty much stuff I want to fully forget about.

And I fear people such as @Gentlepanda have started to seriously doubt my identity after certain events at Sabicord I truly feel ashamed about the fact they happened.

It is a huge stone I want to take out of my path forever.
Nah, you seem pretty alright to me. You're someone I get along with and can hold a bit of a conversation too.

Had to make a 3 minute podcast for a class.

It's 15 minutes long and I can't cut it down any further without loosing the information I'm trying to communicate.

That's what you get professor idiot (she's not been a very good professor this semester and at this point I don't care any more).
man I love being ignored /s
I'd tell you but I have no clue either beyond vague basics.

A fantastic selection.
  • Super Star & Punch Out are always solid conservative choices.
  • I have yet to open my SNES Mini and now I probably won't have to to play Star Fox 2. :p
  • Breath of Fire II is on my to-do-list of RPGs (the original was okay). I'm curious about the party fusion system.
  • Journey to Silius is NES HARD, but man the music is kick ***. It did technically have a JP-only PS1/PS3 port, so this is a nice re-release. We can only pray that this might mean that Gimmick! has a shot of being re-released.
  • Crystalis is great overhead adventure game (I'm surprised SNK is cool with this, as you could already get it in the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection). The menus are a little annoying, but it's very fast paced compared to others in the genre/system and has a fun magic system.
Just now noticed that Japan only got Kirby, Star Fox, Famicom Wars, and Route 16.* Honestly we lucked out for once and got a better deal. Having another Sunsoft title there continues to fill with hope for a Gimmick! re-release.

*A 1985 port of a 1981 arcade game. So not very good...

Burb Burb returned from the dead to to Fatmanonice Fatmanonice to shut the **** up and stop throwing stones in a glass house (regarding him calling Vergeben a liar).
Burb as in Smashburb over on Gamefaqs or no relation?

Damn, that's....spicy, to say the least. Fatman called out Verg while everyone's taking Verg for his word.

This is some kaiju battles level of **** flinging.

whosa what now?
You've peaked my interest. mind if you elaborate a bit?
The basic premise of Breath of Fire 2 and 3 (4 went weird) is Ryu is part of the world dragon. As you defeat bosses in the typical rpg dungeon locations you get access to an appropriate elemental form. Being a dragon costs mp each turn, but you gain access to high tier abilities and your stats are much higher as well.

You also can unlock trainers journeying the world. Each trainer has a perk, and changes your stat growth on level up. Example: I prefer the vanilla magic bump on Nina (the angel-mage) to the large magic increase that reduces health gain. Example: one of the perks is 100% hit rate which makes some otherwise iffy abilities fantastic.

BoF3 (can't remember about 2) also had a combo system where you can power up attacks by acting later in the combo (by gaining more hits) or combo magic by combining elements.

I have a cold and a 9 am class and I still have to write a paper that's due tomorrow. I'd probably be done if I hadn't wasted yesterday by colapsing in bed after I got home from class because I was so weak. I didn't even get into my pajamas I was so tired.

**** college.

It was Smashboards Burb, I couldn't tell you if it's the same one as Gamefaqs though, since I don't know anything about that site. I assume they're the same though.

I wonder if Burb Burb mains Ridley...

Ok, cool.

Vergeben has posted some leaks that have 100% come to be true, as far as I can tell the jury is still out on your information.
Ok, cool.

I don't leak and the elephant in the room is that Verge's track record hasn't exactly been super great this year and the last thing he got right about Smash was Hero which he leaked last August. Imagine that, critical thinking, a basic skill that should be applied to what literally anyone says, including me.

Honestly, @JDCabrera there's nothing you did that was wrong. All you did was share the information you had on the matter and reveal that there was something shady to the situation with Fatmanonice that needed to be shared. I do understand the feeling of being ousted from a group that you share a common wish with, but in the end if the direction the thread is going in isn't one that you know they should follow it's better to let them know then let them stay on that course. It's better to let people know the truth then let them stay blindly loyal to someone who may not deserve it.

Yep, Smashburb is our Burb.

No surprise that he came back in and called out Fatmanonice, he's never been one to blindly follow anyone's word if there was reason to doubt, and considering the situation right now there was a lot of reason to doubt.

But he said Terry, and I'm 99% sure Sabi credited Verg as the one who "Let the cat out of the bag" in her own words when she went on her 36 hour stupid-ass game of "Who could it beeeeeeee?"
