My sister got it on PS4 a few years ago, and me, her and my brother played it, so I'll try and give an honest, spoiler-free review. As someone who's never played an FF game before (but have watched let's plays), who here would recommend Final Fantasy 15 (not the Switch version).
Oh I saw them.See, this is why I only buy the costumes I want with games like Persona, and never the bundles. Tales pulls this same kinda stuff too, so I'm used to it.
Also, seein' how Noipoi is here: You should go check back earlier in the thread today, I made two new GIMP monstrosities.
It was either that, or show video footage of Gooigi as FP5.Oh I saw them.
You shouldn’t be leakin Luigi’s Mansion 4 like that.
Was there name Simon keys?A little update on having no heat thing, I am currently breaking down an igloo that spawned in my bedroom. There was a strange man inside of the igloo, and he told me he was preparing to club baby seals, so I kicked him out of my house and started dismantling the igloo before more of them show up.
Pretty comprehensive and helpful! I figured FF 15 was not a traditional FF game in the slightest, so I don't think I'll be turned away in the difference of gameplay. Might pick it up this winter if I have the time.My sister got it on PS4 a few years ago, and me, her and my brother played it, so I'll try and give an honest, spoiler-free review.
A lot of people describe it as one of the worse Final Fantasy games, but one of the main reasons for that is the different combat system. It veers off form the traditional turn-based style into real-time hack-and-slash-esque gameplay, becoming less like a traditional JRPG and more like some recent western RPGs. The game itself is not half-bad, with a compelling story and likable characters. Battling can be quite tedious though, as the health on some higher level enemies can be ridiculous to make up for the ability to dodge nearly everything. Unlike other Final Fantasy games, you lack the ability to directly command your entire party, and instead control only Noctis, the protagonist. You can occasionally use team-up attacks though. Some DLC that were released actually let you switch to some other characters though, so that's helpful. Almost the entire second half of the game is extremely linear, so you may want to prepare for lots of boss fights as you get later into the game. It has no world map, so you'll have to resort to either walking, using a chocobo or driving the car, which can take a while. You can use the car to fast travel, which cost a minimal amount of gil (seriously, it's nowhere near enough to make a difference) but you have to have visited that location before. Magic doesn't use an MP system, and instead relies on crafted, consumable spells which can be used by Noctis, or equipped by the others, in which case they will use them at whatever time they feel like it. Noctis is a unique character in that he can be equipped with any weapon type, 4 of which can be equipped at once. Magic counts as a weapon and has to be equipped to be used. FFXV also has hunts, like the ones from FFXII and FFXIV. Finishing hunts ranks you up, which will let you do more difficult hunts.
tl;dr: solid game, definitely unlike most FF games but still great. most noticable differences from other FF games are weapon wheel, magic system, character control, combat style and hunts. if you're a diehard FF fan, you might be put off by the combat system, but if not then you'll probably enjoy the game.
if you play it, and want a more traditional FF game to play when you're done, you might pick up the original FF7 on an emulator or something. It's not the most famous FF game for nothing. if you don't care for emulators, or don't have an original PS1, there's a remake coming out in March, with an even more unique combat system than XV had, and a classic mode, which is the original combat system.Pretty comprehensive and helpful! my non-gameplay based review is that the plot is an absolute mess that jumps all over the place and will never get finished because they cancelled the last wave of DLC mid developmentAs someone who's never played an FF game before (but have watched let's plays), who here would recommend Final Fantasy 15 (not the Switch version).
I have a switch. Depending on how my winter goes, I'll either play FF 7 or 15 first, but I wanted to see peoples thoughts on 15 first.if you play it, and want a more traditional FF game to play when you're done, you might pick up the original FF7 on an emulator or something. I've heard its story sucks so that's something to look forward to.my non-gameplay based review is that the plot is an absolute mess that jumps all over the place and will never get finished because they cancelled the last wave of DLC mid development
Okay, Joe Peschi"Do you think God stays in heaven because he, too, lives in fear of what he's created?"
I do that too. Really in the last six months alone i've come a long way since losing like 30 pounds and becoming way less anti social. It’s almost amazing the amount of personal growth one can go through in such short amounts of time.
I look back on things I did this year even, thinking “look at this ****in idiot”
That was actually Steve Buscemi who made that quote. Known for his roles in The Sopranos, Oz, and Boardwalk Empire.Okay, Joe Peschi

Oh, right! I was gonna mention that. I guess i'll watch, considering it's the last season and they're finally doing something with Jasper.I just realized Steven universe future airs in four days!! I can’t wait, it’s looking really good
This is me when I cringe at pretty much any of the times I got shot at(particularly the whole “I don’t give a **** about women in smash” thing. Not saying I’ve changed, just don’t wanna open that can of worms again. Then again by mentioning it I already have, so idk)It’s almost amazing the amount of personal growth one can go through in such short amounts of time.

don't wanna be obama's elfObama’s campaign slogan should’ve been “Obama means family. Family means no one gets left behind, or forgotten.”

Happy birthday man!Well, i'm 18 today. It feels. It feels.
Exactly the same.
Cuz getting all those game franchises for a game is one thing. For a movie??We seriously need a Super Smash Bros./Nintendo Cinematic Universe though.
Why the **** has it not happened yet or at least an anime?
I don’t know how a smash movie would even work. Certain properties fit better in animation like Mario and Kirby, but then you have properties like Zelda, F-Zero, and Fire Emblem which would be better live action. And Pokémon already was given a live action movie.the article was from 2015, back when it was heavily rumored that Sony would also be making a Mario movie
don't think it means anything now, assuming Universal/Illumination's currently the one with the Mario IP
I mean, outside of third parties Nintendo already owns all of them.Cuz getting all those game franchises for a game is one thing. For a movie??
