Just finished Pokemon Sword. While it rightfully deserves most of the criticism it gets, it's definitely not a bad game.

It's extremely accessible for those who want to raise a competitive team, and the wild area and raid battles are a ton of fun. I genuinely like this game but I can't deny it's flaws and the cut content.

I do want more of the wild area in future games though.

I'll call it: Next year, they'll probably announce Pokemon Gun or Diamond & Pearl remakes, and they'll have all the missing Pokemon back without updating SS. If they do the remakes, I fear that they'll end up cutting the Wild Area due to not fitting the vision of the originals, which would be lame. If not, and they end up bringing everything back, it'll probably be the Pokemon game everyone wanted in the first though GF's reputation is already tarnished.

I highly doubt they'll have all the Pokemon back.

Ohmori said that's not their plans anymore and they have Pokemon Home on the horizon, which is, iirc the rumor, 20 bucks a year.



Also, is it really 'that' easy? I know Natures and EVs are easier, but IVs still seem like a *****. I'm really not a bottlecap kinda guy, I like my IVs to be legit 31s, so how easy is it to get perfect Dittos?
