Question for the DMC fans. Should I start with this game first or DMC V? I'm fairly familiar that Dante and Vergil fairly hate each other so that plotline is already known.

DMC5 has a recap video that summarizes the plot at the start of the game, but at the very least, I'd recommend playing DMC3 first. DMC4 might help, if that's an option, to get an introduction to Nero before you play the fifth game.

DMC1 takes place in between 3 and 4, but 3 pretty much covers what you need to know. (and the plot of the first game's pretty straightforward for the most part)

I've yet to play 5 but all I can say is that 3 is brutal. It's fun, but the early game is so goddamn brutal due to lack of moves, health and DT. The boss fights are the definition of hell in the early game too, Agni and Rudra are known to be frustrating though Cerberus, who's faced before him, is the hardest boss in the game for me. There's also the awful design in some areas like how Styles can't be switched out and how the second to last boss just ****ing takes away your Style moves for no reason. It's a great game but if you want something to ease you in on the difficulty, 5 wins by being easier than the average DMC game

If insiders are truly not sharing fighter five because they feel uncomfortable,

It’s either a really big character no one is seriously considering and leaking would put the leaker in trouble; or it’s someone that would probably make people very salty.

Either way the game awards should be fun.

That sounds about right. Difficulty and how easy to get into the game was what I was looking for, because I can just backtrack on plot later.

I plan to play both anyways, but I'll start with 5 first. Thanks for answering!

DMC5 is a better starting point due to the series recap it provides and being easier to get into. DMC3 is quite challenging and will take some time to get used to if it's the first DMC game you play.

2/20/2020 - aside from a large amount of 2's, I'm not sure what's important about that. (I think that the fighters pass was supposed to be finished by Feb. 2020, but that's almost definitely a coincidence)

This would actually be pretty great. If we get a third version I hope this happens.

a dragon with electric, ice, and water attributes and moves would be pretty cool.

I just found out something cool.

You know the ribbons that your Pokemon earn?

You can equip them onto your Pokemon which changes their send out names to stuff like, "Zacian the Galar Champion"

This game has so much customization options, its hilarious.
