Using ducktape to reinforce a double sided playmat (and make sure it can still fold) be like:

Gonna be upset when Nintendo starts making fun-looking VR games that I can barely play.

Even more if it's like Pikmin 4 or something; hopefully it'll never be pure VR.

What's the best VR headset I can get from the market that won't bust a hole in my wallet?

where were y'all when the last half life game came out in 2007

"not born" is a valid but terrifying answer

If I were you guys I'd keep expectations low for FP5 being revealed at this Sony event. Don't want to set yourselves up for disappointment.

Wanna bet? How many games this year came out with non-customizable characters who have actual personalities and defined character traits. Who go through an actual arc. Who have an actually story that's actually about them and not just happening around them.
Anyways, let me go down the list I found in like thirty seconds

  • Miriam from Bloodstained
  • Sora from KH3
  • Persona 5 Royal just came out and you can bet its characters go through Hell and come out stronger for it
  • Fire Emblem Three Houses. Ignoring Byleth, each house leader are the main protagonists of their own and they go through their own arcs
  • Death Stranding
  • Mortal Kombat 11 story
  • Life is Strange 2, apparently
  • Devil May Cry 5
  • Katana Zero
  • Atelier Lulua and Ryza
  • Persona Q2
  • Catherine Full Body
  • Disgaea 4 got rereleased
  • Shenmue 3 releases tomorrow apparently
And that's all I care about. Let's not also ignore the games from last year like
  • Madeleine from Celeste
  • Kratos from God of War
  • Peter Parker from Spiderman PS4
  • Red Dead 2
  • Assassin's Creed
  • Ni no Kuni 2
  • A Way Out
  • Hitman 2
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  • Octopath Traveler
  • Detroit Become Human
  • Spyro's remastered trilogy

You get the point right? These were all found with a quick google search so who knows how much else is out there. Let's not forget you enjoy the story of FF 7 and its remake is coming out next year.

I was alive and breathing. That much is certain. I probably was watching TV though.

I doubt literally anyone is actually expecting Smash news for a Sony event. And if it's a State of Play, it'll probably be garbo like the last one.

According to VNN who leaked this way before anyone else. The new Half-Life VR game is supposed to set a new standard for VR games and revolutionize it just like how the original Half-Life revolutionized FPS games. If this is true then this game might be the one to push VR gaming forward.
I wonder what it would do that sets it apart from other VR FPS games that are currently available?

I’ve played quite a lot of the FPS modes in Rec Room, and it already lets you do things that non-VR games don’t do like let you peek around corners and fire your guns in separate directions while dual wielding. There’s even a thing where there’s a particular pair of guns that, instead of using your other hand to reload them, you can reload by physically throwing them up in the air such that they do a flip and then catching them, which makes you feel so awesome when you can do it consistently.

Originally on Maya, but I moved to Source Filmmaker because I’m more familiar with that program.

who would’ve thought this started out as play-testing base for my midterm project. :)
‘Ey, very nice, I work on Blender primarily. Here’s a little thing I’m working on.

Time to get serious...hmm, how should I put this without coming off as me shilling...

I'm keeping expectations low for Half-Life VR. I'd love for it to be the continuation we've been wanting for years but I expect what amounts to a watered down retelling.
