So, basically, a game I helped with, Sticky Paws, released on Steam recently. It has some amazing voice over by Guh-Huzzah! , and is really cute and charming. I'm not saying, "GO BUY THE GAME." but if anyone would like to take the time to check out the steam page, it'd mean the world to me.

The game looks really good, it is getting great reviews and it has voice work of two of my most beloved users on this site.

Again: won’t promise that I’ll pick it since my parents have too much ego for this kind of stuff, but I’ll try my best.

Edit: also the game costs less than 5€. Hopefully that makes it easier for me to convince my parents.

Also, to clarify, the small price is because it's a fairly short game. It has 8 levels, a level editor, and an art gallery, so I wouldn't expect anything like 20 levels.

Even if he’s in KP2, they could still tease him now.

You know, since the first Kombat Pack trailer, NRS’s development pipeline was drastically reworked to reduce crunch and still stick to some deadlines (like Terminator promoting Dark Fate). Maybe they swapped him and Joker because it would be easier to make his gameplay since they’ve already done him in 3 other games. They were both in the datamine.

Really had nightmares last night.

Tends to happen when we really have some bad days...

...But oh well, you said you wanted to wake up with stuff you found as good news right?

Well, it turns out the leak may not be as guaranteed as people believed!

Look at it this way:

Geno has precedent of being in non-playable, yet represented roles. It is entirely possible that he returns as a Mii Costume after “Super Mario RPG” gets a Mii Fighter Trailer.

Doom Slayer has precedent as not being in at all. This is consistent with all characters in the Fighter Pass thus far. Doom Slayer could be a costume with Cacodemon, but I think it’s possible that he could very well be playable.

What I call into question is the fact that the leaker didn’t show the characters themselves if they’re in. Where’s Geno? Where’s Doom Slayer? It would, likely, be much easier to just add Mii hats rather than fake full-fledged characters. This has me questioning the legitimacy, but still seeing it as potentially real.

Geno could be Fighter 6. But until we get an indication that ATs, Mii Fighters, and Spirits can be upgraded, I don’t see it as likely. We have no precedent for “bonus fighters” as in “You got the fighter pass? Take one more additional prize!” , which is what some folks are expecting with Geno.

If it comes to there being 1 fighter left, and it’s between Doom Slayer and Geno, my money is on Doom Slayer because he fits the precedent of the fighter pass where Geno does not. DOOM is entirely new to Smash, just like the other 4 picks, while Geno is literally a Mario character.

I’ve been wrong before. I could be wrong now. But I think folks are jumping the gun if they assume both are in the game. For now, I’d think a bit more conservatively and expect one of the two, with the other character being a costume.

I was always a fan of unused content in video games, so recording for characters in video games is pretty interesting, since I know all of their unused audio, and to be fair, you're almost never gonna voice in a game where every line of audio is used. Sticky Paws doesn't have much unused audio, but it has a few.

Yesterday I ran a Pokemon tabletop game for the first time! It uses a conversion of DND 5e, it's a bit number crunchy but there is a lot of fun depth to the combat.

I had 3 players and gave them a choice of an unevolved pokemon from gens 1 through 5. One chose Koffing , one chose Abra , and one chose Eevee . So far all we did is choose are starter pokemon, had a tutorial fight between the players to see how combat works, and they all caught their first Pokemon ()


I've already started mapping out my own region and planned out all the gym leaders. Next session I plan on them having their first real Trainer battle and maybe even their first Gym battle.

Doomguy and Geno releasing both together in the same day?

I wouldn’t count on that.

Wouldn’t it make more sense if the Mallow Mii costume released alongside Geno?

Nothing suggests that whatsoever.

There’s one spot left for a playable fighter in the Fighter Pass. Geno is already a spirit, and we have yet to get any fighter who was already in Ultimate. Geno also has the precedent of being a Costume previously, and with Sans coming with music, Geno would fit in a similar mold to that.

It could happen, but there’s no reason to believe that just yet. At least, for me I don’t see a reason to think Geno is in.

Given the vibes this video gives off. My prediction is this is a test build, and giving the Ken leak similarities, the guy is likely in charge of testing the build.

we know Ken, plant and incenroar were in one test build as the guy that leaked plant discussed this. I’m thinking this is a similar situation, so if geno is first character post pass then it wouldn’t be that much of a stretch that this build is testing stuff from the doom guy and geno build.

Geno is one of the most demanded characters and square enix just got boosted to hell by Sakurai. Given that he wants geno it wouldn’t surprise me if he broke square down to give them him.

I think we are getting a direct if this is real and we get the doom guy announcement then geno to come later this year. That’s just my personal opinion if this is real
