We now have an option to skip tutorials, and higher level Pokemon can appear early in the game. It's not much, but it's still something. If Game Freak does something right, it's worth acknowledging.

Elite Four works differently. There IS no Elite Four. You get entered into a tournament bracket with characters you've met earlier and some randos. Champion is Ross, NOT Leon.

Kort is to Kurt as Samson Oak was to Samuel Oak. Apricorn Balls are back.

Eternatus is heavily tied to the lore. It was supposedly the source of corruption in the world and has been here since the beginning. Zacian and Zamazenta were guardians of two warring factions in ancient Galar.

Leon is a fraud and was given a suped up Charizard (like, totem Pokémon stats on a normal Pokémon). He one-shots Marnie's Jellicent and this is why Team Yell is very upset because they know he cheated. It's later exposed that Leon is a fraud after a Colress-branded machine is used by Oleena. This happens roughly one-third through the game. Early previews say the game starts with a Champion battle where Leon defeats "someone they couldn't say" with Charizard, providing evidence for this.

Post-game has a Looker quest involving Meltan. Older E4 members come back for Elite Four rematches, such as Aaron, Bruno, Bertha, Sydney, and Drake.

After you leave the starting town on a train, you access the Wild Area very early. Early impressions confirmed an early Wild Area.

Massive city in the north is where the climax happens. Red stadium is the league. Tower is Ross HQ.

No Red, Blue, Wallace, or Steven. Lance, Cynthia, Alder, and Diantha show up.

Yeah because it was the same **** with no sign of changing, which people are tired of as the games' forced tutorials were a big criticism for the past 5 years or so of Pokemon, we only found out they changed this because people got to play the game.

Also the **** are you on about it IS being recognized and being praised, twitter is absolutely BOOMING with praise to this revelation, discord servers are so happy that what made the games replayable in the past is coming back, we ARE happy about this and we ARE vocal about it, what is your point here? Cause it reads as "Oh you were so mean and now they actually showed something you liked and you aren't kissing their feet you ungrateful mutt"

The final boss in Dragon Quest 2 was complete ********, but I managed to best him with some lucky patterns on his end and a couple of critical hits here and there. I'm relived that it worked out because I really didn't feel like having to grind more levels to stand a chance against him.

I'm going to take a little break before I start up DQ3; fatigue was already starting to set in for me during the last few hours of the game, so it's probably for the best if I want to continue enjoying this series. Still, I'm excited for DQ3 since a lot of fans seem to hold it in pretty high regard.

Eternatus is heavily tied to the lore. It was supposedly the source of corruption in the world and has been here since the beginning. Zacian and Zamazenta were guardians of two warring factions in ancient Galar.

Leon is a fraud and was given a suped up Charizard (like, totem Pokémon stats on a normal Pokémon). He one-shots Marnie's Jellicent and this is why Team Yell is very upset because they know he cheated. It's later exposed that Leon is a fraud after a Colress-branded machine is used by Oleena. Scorbunny is a soccer player with metal feet. "About as Steel type as Lucario is." Sobble is still sad, but less cute-sad and more edgy-sad. It goes invisible in its idle animation. Shy but sneaky. Leaker compared it to Randall from Monsters Inc lmao.

Sobble gets Toxic, Ice Beam, and Surf, but not Facade. Facade is no longer a TM.

Curry is a mix of O Powers and Poffins. You can change your backpack.

Corviknight is a third stage.
Corvipage - Normal/Flying
Corvijack - Steel/Flying

Wooloo evolves into Ramabam. Pure Normal.

Skwovet and Greedunt are Ground types.

Polteageist has a teacup pre-evolution called Bantea.

The weird looking mystery Mon by the water is a Normal/Fairy type. Known as the Intimidation Pokémon. So frightening that they scare themselves.

Rock/Fairy gnome that evolves into a troll. Gnoll and Gnolossus.

Poison/Psychic frogs. Ribbix evolves into Hypnoxious. Has high special attack.

Rolycoly evolves into a Rock/Fire motorcycle thing. Compared it to Boldore where it didn't look like an actual thing.

Fossil Pokémon are a Rock/Ice Sabertooth tiger and a Rock/Fighting Wooly Rhinoceros.

There are 73 brand new non-event non-Galarian Form Pokémon.

Cross-Gen Evolutions are Obstagoon, Sirfetch'd, Cacophatoo, Rigaraf, and Felixity.

Gigamax Forms that haven't yet been confirmed:
Lapras, Snorlax, Granbull, Steelix, Tyranitar, Gardevoir, Flygon, Milotic, Hippowdon, Lucario, Togekiss, Weavile, Zorua, Sawk, Throh. Says there are others they may have forgotten.

Said Gigantamax Charizard looked like a mix of both its Megas. This proved to be accurate.

STORY/PLOT STUFF:

Hop has two Pokémon in his first rival battle; Starter and Corvipage.

Elite Four works differently. There IS no Elite Four. You get entered into a tournament bracket with characters you've met earlier and some randos. Champion is Ross, NOT Leon.

Kort is to Kurt as Samson Oak was to Samuel Oak. Apricorn Balls are back.

Eternatus is heavily tied to the lore. It was supposedly the source of corruption in the world and has been here since the beginning. Zacian and Zamazenta were guardians of two warring factions in ancient Galar.

Leon is a fraud and was given a suped up Charizard (like, totem Pokémon stats on a normal Pokémon). He one-shots Marnie's Jellicent and this is why Team Yell is very upset because they know he cheated. It's later exposed that Leon is a fraud after a Colress-branded machine is used by Oleena. This happens roughly one-third through the game. Early previews say the game starts with a Champion battle where Leon defeats "someone they couldn't say" with Charizard, providing evidence for this.

Post-game has a Looker quest involving Meltan. Older E4 members come back for Elite Four rematches, such as Aaron, Bruno, Bertha, Sydney, and Drake.

After you leave the starting town on a train, you access the Wild Area very early. Early impressions confirmed an early Wild Area.

Massive city in the north is where the climax happens. Red stadium is the league. Tower is Ross HQ.

No Red, Blue, Wallace, or Steven. Lance, Cynthia, Alder, and Diantha show up.

I'm waiting on how people I can actually trust with Pokemon rate the difficulty cause EVERYONE said SM was harder yet I sweeped the entire game effortlessly, now I know I need to ask specific individuals about it. Maybe then I'd get a secondhand purchase
