So... I watched Joker and it was as bad as I feared it would be.

Seriously hoping they won't continue this movie's continuity.

I always thought the idea of an Joker origin movie was dumb to begin with.

Especially given you're not suppose to know who the Joker is. He could be you, me, the guy sitting next to you on the bus. Just one bad day away from insanity. That's what makes Joker scary. Its the same way as how the xenomorphs are which makes them too scarier. I wish media would stop demystifying some stuff because they're better off being mystery letting viewers or readers decide.

Glad I saved my 10 bucks.

I don't have a problem with giving Joker a backstory and I think "anyone is one bad day away from being a villain" is a flat-out bad message to give.

I just think the movie was a mess and relied on referencing Scorsese's previous movies rather than forming a coherent theme.

Well agree to disagree then.

JudgeGeno is a known troll on GameFAQS. Nothing he posts should be taken seriously, including that “leak” from a few pages back.

Gonna get around to watching Deepstar Six and The Abyss at some point this month for my Halloween movies this year. As said going for an underwater horror theme of classics and for when I see Underwater starring Kristen Stewart in January next year.

Al right, click the link to see what I came up with so that each character can have three additional unique costumes (each with their own palette swaps)
Two main issues with these.

The first is that Chrom should definitely have his Great Lord outfit as a costume.

The second is that Daisy's costumes actually can't work with her current moveset due to her down smash. The attack relies on her having a dress to twirl.

Poll made by Sabi. Sora just keeps making it into the top 3. I'm very convinced we'll be among the characters beyond the Pass given Sakurai's two statements "Pleasing as many fans" and "Bringing together many worlds".

I read something the other day where Disney said they would be open to Sora in smash, so it's certainly a possibility.

I also find it kind of interesting how despite a vocal part of the fanbase clamoring for fewer third party characters, only five first parties made the top twenty-seven...and one of them was number twenty-seven.

So I saw Toy Story 4 yesterday. It was good, but it was also the worst Toy Story. The message at the end didn't make sense, considering that Toy Story 3 was all about sticking together, even when everyone has to move on, as we all have a duty to fufill, and Toy Story 4 discarded that for some reason.

Still a fun watch, but not really necassary.

Well tbf the majority are conditioned to having 3rd parties at this point and people probably just don't think a 1st party would fit Sakurai's statement or be a "hype" inclusion.

My computer is running so many useless background programs, which is hard when your trying to render 1000 frames on animation.

My choices and decisions. I already told you I hate these new Star Wars films and don't want to go down to it again for why I did without repeating myself and causing another ****storm. Respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Am I telling you to go watch Godzilla? No, no I am not.

As for Zombie Land 2. Zombies have been overdone to death and needs to do new horrors like lake monsters, wendigos, reptilians and such. Also I feel its kinda late for a sequel tbh. Should had been done like 5 years ago or so.

That doesn't explain why popular first parties still made it into the top 20.

While I think some people are influenced by the recent speculation, it's simpler to accept there aren't much big Nintendo characters left and a lot of people are interested in the third party characters they like but didn't think have a chance before.

On the other hand. Crawl's made 88.8 million against an 13.5 million. Not bad for a film like itself. A decent profit to say the least.

And just a little under a week until it comes out! Yay!

To think this film was produced by the great Sam Raimi who did the Evil Dead films and the original Spider-Man trilogy which makes it ever better.

Jesus, calm the hell down. I never told you that you have to watch Star Wars, I just don't think it's right to be making a "best movies list" without giving other high profile films a chance.

And I do watch Godzilla movies.

Also, since you jumped down my throat over a jokey reply I will say that the new Star Wars movies are objectively better made films than anything in the Fast and Furious series, which are action for the sake of action with no real plot.

Except it’s a list if his personal favorites. Not the “objective” best list.

And I do apologize. I admit I was coming across a bit aggressive it was just from the way your post sounded that made me think otherwise.

And that's also fine again your opinion which I respect.

What a lot of people tend to forget when it comes to polls taken after a Smash game is released is that the support for a character can change drastically depending on whether or not that character is already represented in the game.

Take Ridley in Smash 4 as an example. The guy was easily one of, if not the most popular character requests in NA. Then the October presentation happened, and we got official confirmation that he was a boss. After that, a lot of his supporters walked away and didn't vocalize a desire to see him as DLC. They thought it was over.

Same thing applies to other first-parties. Even if that character ranks close to the top, there's no way of telling how much better they would've done if there wasn't that chunk of supporters who thought their chances were long gone. Third-parties don't really have this issue, as most of our popular options weren't recognized in the base game at all.

So really, just take polls with a grain of salt. People tend to support whoever they think is likely, and that's part of the reason why characters who were popular a year ago (Rex, Decidueye, Spring Man, etc.) hardly rank at all. People expect third-parties, therefore third-parties will rank well in polls.

Sora though seems to be an exception. Everywhere on any poll he's seen at least in the top 3. At this point I'm very certain he'll definitely be happening.

My boy Bomberman got shafted for Sora. This is not okay.

No but seriously, this is eh. Kind of hard to take it seriously when the viewerbases for each channel are very Smash Bubble heavy. It's completely skewed to these results for a reason.

"People think they are likely" really doesn't explain why Sora, Steve and Isaac are placed so high.

I've also got a good feeling on Steve. Given Nintendo's and Microsoft's relationship that Microsoft is willing to let Sakurai use another of their character and I can see that being Steve given Sakurai being a fan and loving Minecraft. I'll be kinda surprise if he's a Mii Costume which I feel Master Chief would more likely to be if Halo were to get any representation.
