My head cannon is that Banjo and Kazooie can’t even look at Steve without getting Nuts and Bolts flashbacks.

This is unfair and Steve is nothing like Nuts & Bolts as his blocks are unique and Banjo & Kazooie still enjoyed it anyway. They are good friends.

Minecraft’s blocks are smooth and look nice.

Banjo and Kazooie would not be blockist. They are official Minecraft skins so they even volunteered if it’s lore.

Ok. Can I just say I really don’t like Minecraft’s art style. It looks like it was made by a high school computer graphics student as a demo for basic modeling techniques.

It has low graphics, yes. I personally like all the textures so eh...they have a guy who makes them more consistent with each other with some getting retextures while being faithful.

But Banjo and Kazooie are officially part of these graphics.

And really, I just hate how some people seriously treat them as enemies while no one bothered to make high-quality friend fan art. I’ve only seen a sketch with multiple Microsoft characters. I could make some myself but I ain’t that good. It also promotes that stupid, incessant Banjo vs. Steve crap.

I saw that rumor posted a few pages back and absolutely terrible echo choices aside( outside of dry bowser, and Medusa. Dixie should be unique)

But my biggest problem is the budget thing.

Why the hell would their budget be shorter? The fighter pass sold so well in pre purchases that it made them announce dlc outside of the pass pretty early, on top of the fact that the game is continually one of the highest selling switch titles.

If anything they should have more budget to play around with

I think it’d be cool if Rana and the others made an appearance, but I’m afraid they were scrapped completely back in 2009 or 2010.

I don’t like it. At all. It just looks lazy to me. The proportions are weird on the characters. Faces look bad. Animals look weird. Gah. I just don’t like it.

Have you seen the newer textures?

I mean, creepers are the same, as well as grass, but the other stuff such as Netherrack, Soulsand, Diamond Block, and most other things, oh boy (though I liked the past textures as well; please don’t change my Creeper).

But I can understand that. Honestly having a different design and higher-res textures by default would ruin it for me personally, though I’d probably still play despite the weird identity change...and, potential increase in CPU usage because Notch- *cough* Miku’s coding in Java was a mess...

If we're talking about Costumes to add, even color palettes, Black Yoshi and White Yoshi make a lot of sense. Ryu and Ken have a ton of options. Samus should just get the Phazon color swap, but her Multiplayer colors from Prime 2 would be neat as well if you modded them in.

In a few games, Ryu would have a dark Blue gi with a yellow Headband, like in Marvel 3. He has something similar in Third Strike.

Some of these color swaps are off though, namely all the purple costumes being far more pink than they are officially.

Mega Man's got quite a few too, some showing up multiple times(Red/White and Green/White being major examples, but those are in already.)

Both the Spark Shot and Crash Bomb are Orange/White. And they even show up in his moveset. Kind of a bonus since all his other colors do the same. Though personally, I think a Purple color would be a good choice too. Though it seems like every color swap Mega Man has references a move in his kit, so that does limit what extra ones you could give him if you followed that mentality. Oh, and a Gray or Black/White color could be cool too, while still being "common" enough to reference multiple weapons.
