B) i’m glad that people like this, but I really hope it doesn’t further discourage playtonic from making a proper Twooka-Laylee.

I would, but my right arm's in a sling. (fractured my elbow) Trying to type with my left hand, or play a Dragon Quest game with my left hand, can get annoying at times, and I definitely couldn't play a 2D platformer that requires quick reflexes and tight timing.

Here's hoping we get a proper Yooka-Laylee sequel - I'm sure they could implement the lessons learned from the first one. (though I liked the first one)

I came come up with a move-set for anything that's impossible.
Here's my move-set for the ? Block below.
Neutral: Cannon Box or either Bullet Bill Cannon
Side: Snake Block
Up: Propeller Box
Down: Light Box
Final Smash: Roulette Block (Turns into this and starts firing items, coins, power ups and enemies everywhere.)
And it has a tether recovery with the vine.

Definitely do give Tro_ical Freeze another shot when you can - it's an incredible game with one of Nintendo's best soundtracks in years

Jabs and Tilts:
Neutral Attack/Jab - Uses a Super Leaf and swipes it's tail in front of it.
Rapid Jab - Several tail smacking.
Up Tilt - A Goomba jumps out of it's top, before returning.
Side Tilt - A Koopa Shell spins by it's side, before returning.
Down Tilt - Turns into a Thwomp and pounds the ground, lifting a small cloud of dust that damages enemies nearby.
Dash Attack - Turns into an Ice Block and slides forward.

Smash Attacks:
Up Smash - Turns into a Note Block and fires a musical note upwards.
Side Smash - Sprouts a small Piranha Plant on it's side and chomps.
Down Smash - Turns into a POW Block and pounds the ground generating a small shockwave near it.

Aerials:
Neutral Air - Turns into a Spiky ? Block and spins.
Forward Air - Turns into a Fake Item Box and launches itself forward. Bounces off enemies.
Back Air - Turns into a Triangular Block and spins backwards, like a boomerang.
Down Air - Turns into a Donut Block and fastfalls. Bounces off enemies.
Up Air - Turns into a Springboard and pushes enemies upwards.

Grabs and Throws:
Grab and Tether Recovery - Grows a vine from it's side. As a pummel, a small Piranha Plant on it's tip bites the opponent.
Up Throw - Turns into a cannon and shoots the enemy upwards.
Down Throw - Turns into a Thwomp and pounds the enemy.
Forward Throw - Wraps the enemy in vines and launches them similar to a spinning top.
Back Throw - Swings it's vines backwards and launches the enemy.

Animations:
Up Taunt - A beanstalk grows on top of it, then retracts back.
Side Taunt - Turns into a Fake Block and spins in place.
Down Taunt - Becomes a Brick Block and shatters before changing back.
Blocking - Uses the "angry expression" of used ? Blocks from Super Mario World.
Dodging - Turns into an Invisible Block.
Ducking - Changes into an Expansion Block from Yoshi's Island and shrinks.
Idle - Floats around a bit.
Jumping - Sprout wings and flaps them.
Dizzy - Becomes a Hard Block and falls to the ground.
Stamina Battle Defeat - Turns into an used ? Block and falls to the ground.
KO - Coins scatter around, similar to Mega Man's explosion.
Victory Pose 1 - Multiple coins erupt from the top of itself.
Victory Pose 2 - Falls from the sky as a Thwomp before changing back.
Victory Pose 3 - Flies around as a Fake Block.
Losing Animation - Stands there, motionless.
Kirby Hat - A ? Block with Kirby's arms and feet.

Eh, I don't think ATLUS would write new parts to those without the original writer. They even had to bring him back for PSP port of P2 and that was just for a few short part. Not to mention Tatsuya and Maya have defined relationships and don't really fit the Social Link system.

If you need to do this many changes, it's better just to make a brand new game. P-Studio is relatively small and they probably can't afford developing expensive remakes of their old, niche titles.
