While the avatar doesn't bother me personally (I think I've grown too jaded regarding this kinda stuff), I do think it's not a good choice for a relatively family friendly site such as this.

Also @Taylor F I did report said video, good luck with getting it down. I think what annoyed me the most isn't even the fact that the guy stole it and cut out the credits, but that he had the gall to like all three comments calling him out, like some sort of taunt.

Edit: And the avatar changed while I was typing, now I look like a fool.

Yeah, same. That’s pretty upsetting. This project took a good few months to animate, make music, hand-craft custom models, plan out, and provide vocals, so it’s a little upsetting that someone would just steal it like that.

He's absolutely gonna have fighting game inputs, probably for more powerful/effective versions of his specials like the shotos.

As someone who started w/ Smash and branched out to other fighters later, I'm more accustomed to Smash's control scheme.

I can do qcf/qcb motions in other fighters pretty easily, but in the setting of Smash, it's just weird. For me at least.

So, huuuuh, did you ever got a idea for a drawing, started working on it after some thoughts, and then, later on, you look at it, and....you don't know how to feel about it?

Well, a drawing of mine just gave me this feeling, and I kinda need some opinions on it to know where to go with it, feel free to say whatever you want on it, this pic was me basically trying option on Clip Studio I never used before, so it's not like a masterpiece that is immune to criticism, if there is anything to critize about it.

Also, it may be a bit spoopy (Halloween coming soon, so I tried to make something fitting to the theme), so maybe don't look at it if you aren't feeling too well, not like I expect it to be scary, but better be safe than be sorry.

Nah. If anything, he's one of my least favorites from the DLC so far(Hero being my least favorite)

Mainly because I didn't even know he existed, and the fact that he's pretty much a "who?" in America.
And even then thou, looking at what people are saying, he may literally have the same gimmick as Ken and Ryu. Which, IMO, should not be a thing.

DQXI S got this close to making me cry some minutes ago regarding a specific point of the story.

Honestly tho, I'm just waiting to see more of him before I judge gameplay wise.

This, this and this.

Nobody should really judge a character when we still don’t know enough about them to make any strong statement. More so for people who haven’t even played KoF.

So of course, we shall just be patient and wait for more key information to drop by doing other stuff. In my case that will be IRL stuff to deal with, my replays of DQXI S and movies coming soon such as Joker.

I plan to first beat a DQXI S run on my own and just letting my own instict guide me.

Then, I’ll try and get the other alledged endings one by one on different runs.
After that, I’ll replay the whole game on 2D mode.
Finally, I’ll just try to 100% everything.

And yes, I just love the game that much

I see where you're coming from, but I feel that overusing that by having too many characters with that gimmick could easily make them not stand out.

(personally, I feel that having 3-4 characters with a unique gimmick is enough)

What I mean is, within most of murica', most people haven't heard of Terry specifically.
Hell, even some of my close friends who play fighting games fairly religiously haven't even heard of him.
And even then, Fighting Games tend to be slightly less popular in the south(which is where I live)

Cue hauntings and sightings of this creature, and the mysterious disappearances of the people who encounter it. Those victims appear outlined by an excessive amount of marker paint. Are they assimilated, expunged? Taken into the second dimension? None can say for certain.

The creature's origin may trace back to cult activities that go unreported in campus. It could be the doings of a group of aspiring contemporary mages who wish nothing more than proof that certain walls can be pried open to unravel worlds only romanticized in alchemy. For what greater way is there to summon Eldritch Horrors than to use high-contrasting tools to achieve the abnormality behind the mortal realm and the great unknown?

Burn Knuckle is almost certainly side special. It'd be like making Tatsumaki Senpukyaku a down special. It just makes so much more sense as a side special, likely with Crack Shoot as the down special.

That and you see the same telltale "you did the input correctly" glow that Ryu and Ken have.

Lots of Mysteries indeed, I will reveal one day who that creature is....sort of, but for now, all I say is that it come from the same universe as Marsa, Hota, Antrice, etc... live. (and that a certain image inspired me for it, buuuuuuut I won't say which one. )

So...watch out in the dark.

I can't really say too much about Terry since I don't know what his moveset will be like, but if we're rating him as a character, he's not my cup of tea.

Honestly, none of the DLC characters so far have really been what I've been hoping for. I guess Banjo should've been that one character that sent me over the edge, but I was never really interested in him one way or the other.

Can't complain too much though because every unique newcomer on the base roster excluding Simon and Incineroar was on my most-wanted list. I just don't think the DLC rivals the feelings I got from Inklings, Ridley, and K. Rool.

Spoiler: Going more in depth about the part of DQXI S that almost made me cry (obvious spoilers)

The part where you discover the fate of your old adopted sister and grandfather... was just pulled out in an outstanding way.

When you meet with the latter first at the ruins of your old kingdom, the mistery of the character is still really strong. And the way the game makes him move slow does invest the player into having many kinds of questions raising up on their heads such as “why does this seem too quiet?”, “how did he know about the Luminary?” or “why so many secrets?”... and then he takes you to the grave of your grandparents, reveals how he actually is your grandfather and asks you while having some tears drop out of his face to help him take their souls to a better place.

And while you are on your way with him to go to the sanctuary of the ritual, you find yourself once again on a slow walk that makes you take a lot of time inside your mind to deal with the reveals that just happened. And after finding myself arriving at the sanctuary, and while seeing all the souls of the people murdered by the monsters years ago finally flying up to Yggdrassil... it was there when I almost felt a tear close to dropping out of my face.

The key element that made this part really shine was without a doubt the pace: it is slow enough to motivate the player into starting to do some internal thinking, but also quick enough to not be felt as something irritating.

Needless to say: It sucks that this game won’t probably get nonimated for the Game Awards due to its nature as a port... because I really believe that this title does deserve to win a possible “best RPG” cathegory.

This is pretty much how I feel in a nutshell. The FIghter's Pass so far has been pretty meh overall(with the exception of Banjo obviously) but I'm not personally interested in any of the characters outside of Smash, so they don't have any appeal to me.
