Michael the Spikester said that we probably won't get Heihachi (or a Tekken character in general) because Terry is in Smash, but the Fighters Pass also has two JRPG characters (Joker and Hero), so it's not like it's limited to one per genre.

I dunno why I just got a feeling if Heihachi does manage to make it he'll be after this pass.

Everyone yet still ignores the natural irreversible deaths notably those dying in car accidents, plane crashes, boating accidents, on life support and undergoing surgery.

Hulk may had saved those people who were on the plane that vanished by putting them on the ground but explain those.

And again how many relationships are forever ruined for those brought back only to find their loved ones having moved on with someone else or appearing in your old home where someone is living in now.

Can't also forget how realistically the post-snap world wouldn't be what we saw in the movie and rather more like a hell hole like Mad Max. 50% of all life gone. Do you realize how bad the economy would crash?

Yet this movie had the nerve to have stupid humor like Hulk taking selfies with girls or Fortnite ignoring all those.

You can literally nitpick like this about every high concept movie

FORTNITE BAD, MINECRAFT GOOD!

No but seriously, Fortnite is one of those games that gets reallllllly dull after a few matches. Especially with the mechs pre-nerf(shudders)

Not when its a dark premise which 50% of all life perished.

MCU film or not this should had been an exception that didn't use the usual formula but obviously if they did that the film wouldn't be a hit because the GA are too used to that formula.

Take The Empire Strikes Back for example. Dark premise but it had levity.

Having a ending where everyone is happy & rainbow come from the stars is generally boring (tho it can work if done properly, or if the hero reallyyyy deserve it after all the **** he went through), adding some bitterness never hurt anyone...well, beside some of the characters, but you know what I'm saying.

Endgame is a movie about bunch of people beating the **** out of a purple alien and time travelling for magic stones. I think making it grimdark would be even more absurd.

'cuz it doesn't exactly end in rainbow, since you know, Iron Man die, and Cap.America is out of the game too.

Maybe I'm missing they were probably building up to that but still I expected an grand epic adventure full of action non-stop throughout and at times swore there were parts it felt like a soap opera.

I mean after 11 years of building up would you not expect something like that especially the combination of space and time travel.

That's obviously subjective, but:

Marvel movies has a big fanbase that cares about character interactions as much as action and a lot of people cite it as one of franchise's biggest strengths. If you ask me, I think the movie still could use some more dialogue especially on the women's side, seriously.

It's probably more enjoyable if you watch IW and Endgame back to back since the various deaths in IW will be fresh in the mind of the viewers, making the slow pace in the first act easier to understand since the main cast is dealing with a long, slow, painful rebuild of society.

But besides that, I have a question for you: how many more times are you gonna complain endlessly about the same points over and over again until you give it a rest and move on? You can dislike Endgame; that's not my problem. My problem is that we've already discussed this points ad nauseum and yet they keep being brought up. Don't we have anything fresh or better topics to talk about? The answer is yes. When are you going to stop?

Talking about dark movies, I finally watched Freier Fall today and I regret all of my life decisions. Still amazing movie, though.

My film teacher is making us watch “Sorry to Bother You”. And if my film professor’s history is any indication, i’m just sitting hear waiting for the thing that’s gonna freak me out because every film we watch always has something in it that freaks me out.

It looks like an interesting movie, I might check it out later.

It’s not just one though. It’s like.... every professor i’ve had.

I think Endgame is a fine film overall. I have quips about it but it really doesn't have to do with the tone and just has to do with the inconsistent time travel writing and a rather disappointing payoff for the villain they set up in the first movie. Honestly I think they did just fine setting the film up with a rather despair-ridden tone in the beginning and not continuing with it for the rest of the movie. If Endgame was like the first 20 minutes where everyone has given up all hope, I wouldn't want to watch it. It wouldn't be fun and I might as well be watching Zack Snyder at work at that point. The formula of a serious premise with jokes sprinkled around isn't just to pander to general audiences, it's a good formula for a movie to be enjoyable. The movie can be serious during more intense action scenes, but scenes that are for moving the plot along are kept from being boring by having some humor thrown in. It's why the MCU is successful, along with its ongoing plot.

I’m assuming Ryu Hayabusa is going to be the last one, and if he isn’t then I can be surprised. I just really don’t know what the last pick is going to look like. I do feel that adding another set of 5 definitely means we’ll be getting some top choices. That, I think, we can look forward to.

Finished Zero's co-op Subspace Emissary series and it just reminds me of how iconic and amazing Brawl actually was. It may not be a good competitive game, but IMO it was in general a damn good game that I had tons of fun with. Only Melee comes close within the series.

Ultimate is nice, but I didn't enjoy it overall as much as Melee and Brawl. No doubt the gameplay is really refined and I can tell a lot of passion went into it, but I can't help the way I feel.

It really is an awkward situation. It's a first for the MCU as well, they've never had a character forcibly ripped out of it before. If only Disney weren't so greedy sometimes, they might have been able to work something out with Sony and not have the MCU be in this predicament.
