So given that Terry made a turn in discussion and speculation. Who do you guys think might probably be DLC fighter 5?

Because for all we know Sakurai might surprise us again.

Watch that Kratos is DLC fighter 5. Because he could do that and we'd never expect it.

Tbh, I actually found the intro to Nuts and Bolts to be more funny than insulting. I mean, it pokes fun on what characters, who have been out of commission for a while, been up to, and it just feels like a cartoon plot more than anything..

Granted, the L.O.G. may be a bit much.

Ya know given Shantae's popularity and its animation style. I wonder if there will ever be an anime based upon it?

Actually kinda surprised it has yet to happen...

Yeah, that's another reason why I prefer her English voice. On top of Erica Mendez already doing a great job in the role I never cared for that type of voice direction in Japanese media.

Currently watching Smash videos about who could be DLC fighter 5 or beyond.

I'm still rather certain given Nintendo's and Microsoft's great relationship that Steve is likely to happen especially given Minecraft's legacy on gaming.

At this point, I'm more interested in what comes after the pass than Fighter #5.

I just want to see who the first character is so we can possibly put an end to the constant arguing about first-parties.

If I have to be honest, I would be disappointed. Scorpion is a cool character and all, but I just don't think he would be any more than "martial artist from a slightly more popular series than Terry was from."

Imo, I'm honestly expecting #5 to be a fan favorite. Literally all the dlc(except Banjo) could easily be described as "popular, but only in X region" and even Banjo is kinda niche with the younger audience(anyone under 13 mainly), considering he hasen't had a game in around 2 Decades.

Hell! I had forgotten Persona even existed until Joker was announced.
