I dont like people holding doors open for me unless I have my hands full. And if thry do it for me, I normaly do the same for them. Like, I can open doors perfectly on my own again, unless my hands are full
Hey, to each their own. It makes me feel important. Like, people feel the need to drop what they're doing to make my life easier. It's nice. Especially after feeling ignored for a lot of my life pre-transition.

Well, found out what was wrong with my Switch. ...It was just stuck on a Youtube error for hours on end and wouldn't "do anything". Basically frozen. At least I don't have to get it repaired or anything, so I'll take what I can.

...Since I often get terrible Yugioh card pulls(my last box was completely worthless in every possible way except mayyyyyyybe some trade power, but I doubt that too), something good has to happen, you know? ...Maybe.
Hey, not so sound so daft, but what happened to your moderation status?

Thats not being treated as important, that called being selfish. No one needs to drop everything they are doing to focus on you. No one needs to do that for anyone, no matter the kind of person

Sure Jan, But I dont even like people doing that for me, If someone is doing something more important, why would I want them to stop what they are doing??
I mean.... I don't EXPECT people to do it for me and I don't just stand there waiting doe someone else to open the door for me. It just feels nice when it happens.

Also, It's Jen. Not Jan. My name is Jennifer.

For the record, holding the door open is general courtesy no matter what gender you are. It's never necessary but it's pretty lit if you do it for me.

Can't really talk about it, sorry. I'm not one anymore and that's honestly all I can say. You'd need to ask the Moderation/Admins for a statement they'd prefer to give.

I hold the door for everybody.

Literally ****in everybody.

I’ll stand there for 20 minutes holding the door.
What? No way! I do the same thing! Probably not for 20 minutes, but I tend to hold the door open a lot for anyone, no matter their gender.

I appreciate it when people do the same for me, I feel it just shows that they're a nice person.

I usually instinctively hold the door open for someone if I see them coming my way, but just recently a few women have actually been insulted by it. A few have said stuff along the lines of, "I can hold the door for myself, thank you!"

Most guys don't say anything aside from "Thanks", but a lot of them will take the door from me and hold it open for other people, like I'm supposed to pass on the baton or something. I'm guilty of this too though, so I can't say much.

I'd hold the door for everyone, but I think some guys get annoyed from it. Can't win everyone, I guess.

Those girls must have had pissy days. Do 't let it get to you.

The guy thing I relate to. It's a community thing, I suppose.

One thing I don't like is when people feel guilty about what their ancestors did to us blacks, and then they feel the need to apologise or try to give us special treatment to show how guilty they feel.

Like, if you feel sorry, just treat us normally, like you would with anyone else. I hate free handouts that's solely based on the color of my skin, like, make us put in the work and effort for it.
Yeah, it's either that, or people genuinely hate you. It's irritating either way, but can't change people being dumbasses easily. I'd rather judge someone on their personality I guess.

I like holding the door if I see someone coming by, and peoples are generally thankful for it, even peoples I don't talk at all.

Idk, just seem the right thing to do to me.

I mean, it takes less effort to hold a door that's already open than it is to open a door. I always figured it was common courtesy to hold a door for someone. I guess I can see it being uncomfortable if you thought they were doing it because they thought you're attractive, but I can't really relate to that.

I tend to hold the door open for others. I've rarely gotten people who don't like that. Many cases it's cause someone is handicapped or has a ton of food in their hand. But working at a fast food restaurant is nice in that regard, cause I'm a people person~

I usually hold the door anyone who's near by. It only gets weird when like 12 people are leaving a place at the same time and I'm trying to make moves. So you gotta figure out when let go.

I mean, I was taught to hold doors for others because it's a polite thing to do, and it doesn't really take more than five seconds to do.

Tbh, I get more annoyed when people just let the door close on someone who's right behind them.

Never expected to hear that people get offended by getting the door held open. Like, it's just common courtesy and takes maybe 5 seconds top.

I hold the door open because I was raised in England and if I don't hold doors open the queen will have me put on the electric chair
I thought you were no longer a citizen.
