Y'all, I'm ready for anything at this point. They called it the Smashboards russian roulette![]()
Wow, look at these absolutely identical artstyles.
They're just so similar!
You know, if you ignore the color pallets. And the style of clothing. And the choice of weapon. And well, everything else.
Okay. Now you people are just confused. Art style isn’t WHAT you draw. It’s how you draw it. You don’t say, this one has a jacket and this one doesn’t do they’re different styles. You look at how the same things are drawn in both. How do both of them draw a jacket, or a sword, or a face. It's not invalid, it's just plainly wrong, Marth look like he come from a medieval-inspired age thanks to what he wear & how simple his sword look. Meanwhile, Shulk design look more modern all around, with the jacket/hoodie & The Monado being key element that show that he can't come from a world like the Marth come from.
If you can't tell the difference, then you need do serious research about what character design is.
Other than them being realistically proportioned men, why don't you enlighten us on the similarities of their artwork?Okay. Now you people are just confused. Art style isn’t WHAT you draw. It’s how you draw it.
All DLC choices were picked by Sakurai himself, people just refuse to accept Persona and Fatal Fury had their own merits. So we know that some DLC choices were picks by Sakurai himself bothand Terry are proof of that. If we were to get more picks from Sakurai himself what other characters would benefit from this? I think Steve is one that comes to mind. Sakurai's a fan of and loves Minecraft having played it and given Nintendo's and Microsoft's buddy-buddy relationship.
Then say what looks similar instead of using buzzwords with broad strokes.Okay. Now you people are just confused. Art style isn’t WHAT you draw. It’s how you draw it. You don’t say, this one has a jacket and this one doesn’t do they’re different styles. You look at how the same things are drawn in both. How do both of them draw a jacket, or a sword, or a face.
Xenoblade Chronicles uses completely a different shading and line-art style from any Fire Emblem game, so I'm not sure what are you trying to prove here.Okay. Now you people are just confused. Art style isn’t WHAT you draw. It’s how you draw it. You don’t say, this one has a jacket and this one doesn’t do they’re different styles. You look at how the same things are drawn in both. Wait it isn't tournament legal? I thought it was?It just baffles me that Hazardless Castle Seige isn't Tournament Legal when Yoshi's Island Brawl and Lylat Cruise are.

They had Yoshi Brawl legal? I can’t remember the last major that allowed that stage. Though without DSR I can imagine the stage variety isn’t huge in this gameIt just baffles me that Hazardless Castle Seige isn't Tournament Legal when Yoshi's Island Brawl and Lylat Cruise are.
The sudden use of Russian roulette imagery is kind of frightening.Me too

Completely differently?
I much look forward to season 2 next year. Can't wait. ^_^Shut the up panda I'm talking about the good Hilda
Okay. Those aren’t the same type of sword though. You can’t compare them. Is there an example of say.... a normal looking sword in Xenoblade.Uhhh...
And uhhhh...
Completely differently?
How? Are you not even looking at the linework, facial structure, and colorwork? Marth’s face is constructed from these thick, sharp, comic book looking lines, while his face looks like it’s colored in by bright markers. Also, the faces look the same. Like, they’re different people. But clearly the same art style.
