Uh-huh. And, the two most important characters in the game aside from the protagonist
Sans and Asriel, of course
are my two favorite characters in the game. Along with that, both of them have arguably the hardest trials in the entire cast. One with the resetting timeline plot, and one with the resurrection
both when getting his flowey form AND when he regains his true form in the final fight
and redemption plot.

So now that we know more fighters beyond the Fighter Pass are on the way, do any of you think there's a good chance of us getting more first party newcomers once again?

I'm open to new things but there's still a few faces from Nintendo's own that I'd really to see, and a few that I, personal connections or not, honestly just think are legitimately missing from the game (Dixie Kong and Bandana Dee come to mind). It's good for the franchise to continue expanding it's horizons, plus it benefits Nintendo as a company (helping them build new partnerships and strengthen ones they've already had) but I think it'd be a shame to completely neglect Nintendo characters from here on out. If you're gonna go all-out, adding more and more, which is certainly what Sakurai seems to be doing, why not take the opportunity?

Astral Chain is a distinct possibility. But I'm not sure if it was announced soon enough.

I thought the 5 feather limit would be too harsh at first but it's really not that bad at all. It's not a move you should be throwing out in neutral unless it's as a hard callout so I've rarely ever felt the impact of having no uses left.

I definitely think depending on how many Characters we get there'll be at least one if not a half a dozen maybe and if we get Echo fighters? Then definitely half a dozen.

Just to name some off right now we could be seeing:
-Dixie (Echo fighter)
-Bandanna Dee
-Isaac (If Assists can be upgraded)
-Waluigi (If Assists can be upgraded)
-Chorus Kids/Rhythm Heaven rep
-Edelgard/Three Houses rep
-Pokemon Sw/Sh rep
-Astral Chain rep
-Rex/Pyra

There's still a handful of potential 1st party characters we could get and I personally don't feel like it'll all be 3rd party like the Fighters Pass if we're focusing on fan favorites cause there's still a lot of fan favorite 1st party characters that aren't in. Mainly Waluigi, Isaac, Rex/Pyra, Maybe Bandanna Dee and a Rhythm Heaven rep.

As long as I get Doomguy or Ryu Hayabusa in DLC, Ultimate can add whoever honestly.
