dynamax is a neat gimmick that combines what mega evolution and z moves tried to do but give it 5 years and no one is going to miss it when something else decides to replace it and is never mentioned again

they didn't even bring many of the mega evolution crystals into sun and moon, so i doubt they'll bring much of those or the z crystals

it isn't bound to an item either, or at least i hope it isn't. that was pretty much a big thing about it that made it lacking the last 2 gens

the actual question is will it survive past gen 8

It's funny how they tried to bury mega evolutions in Gen 7 with the Pokedex entries, describing how every one of them was extremely painful so you should really feel bad about forcing them to evolve okay

First console game I ever owned so this will be an automatic purchase. I just hope it keeps the Season 1-3 humor/story intact, better graphics, fixes glitches and adds more scenery to areas. It's not Ducktales, but it is a solid licensed title that meant a lot to kids back in my day and is worthy of receiving care.

Huh. Just watched the Pokemon direct.

Can't wait for dynamaxing to be forgotten about entirely in every sequel after this one.

Oh but since Weavile was shown, Sneasel's in. Hell yeah.
