Zelda in BotW is canonically 17 years old (mentally around 117 or something but still with the body of a 17 year-old) but that hasn't deterred anyone in the slightest. Same with Ultimate Zelda given the only comfirmed adult Zeldas were maybe OoT and TP.

I think you're right actually, the sentence makes the most sense that way. Still, I do find it a bit funny that even when they've stopped making Fire/Fighting starters, both Incineroar and apparently Scorbunny's final evo still have fighting elements, it's like they're not really doing it anymore, but still are.
