I see many people say they went through a phase where they thought they were “too mature for cartoons” before coming back to them. It just occurred to me that I never had that phase.

I slowly drifted away from cartoons for a while, but that had more to do with my parents cutting off cable then it had to do with ne being too "mature" for them.

Then I discovered Gravity Falls in early 2018 and I fell in love with cartoons all over again. Here's to hoping Disney+ comes with Wander over Yonder, Ducktales 2017, and Amphibia.

Oh, and not to mention Owl House. I'm really looking forward to that one.

I finally finished the Blue Lions route in Fire Emblem Three Houses.

The story and character development for this route is one of my favorite in this series. Dimitri's redemption arc is something incredible. His character was originally mocking the idea of a chivalrous hero to showcase the brutal reality of war, but after many chapters he came to terms with his demons and decided to abandon the shackles of the dead. His character reminded me of Arthas Menethil, which was my initial reason for picking his house. And after completing the route the similarities become more apparent. The only difference is that Dimitri redeemed himself at the end while Arthas continued to spiral into a path of destruction.

The rest of the house are also great characters that have great chemistry with each other. Dedue's interactions with Dimitri were emotional and sad. Felix acted like an ass to everyone in a hilarious way, yet he cared about those close to him. Sylvain was a complete surprise to me, my initial impressions about him were blown away once he revealed his upbringing and how he feels about crests. If I had to pick my favorite support then it's probably Dimitri with Marianne. It's two monsters who have to deal with their inner demons, they understand each other so well and realize what the other is going through. Their ending and Marianne's last written words were heart warming.

I found the exploring segment to be quite redundant after the time skip. By that point I have already gotten the supports I needed and Byleth already had the skills he needed. Only reason to go is to read what the characters are saying, give them motivation, or increase the support between two characters. Instructing students is a breath of fresh air and it gave me freedom in how I wanted my units to be. Some maps were fun while some were pretty boring. The soundtrack is amazing as hell, especially Apex of the World. I only completed one route but this game has become one of my favorite in the series. Now onto the Golden Deer house after a small break.

While I won't spoil you when Dimitri does say in BL route that, if it weren't for Byleth, they probably just run straight into danger and die all alone, not even in a glorious way.

In other words, Dimitri really need a therapist to not die, Edel need someone who isn't a Yes Man/Woman to conquer well, and Claude need someone that actually push him to do more than staying on the sideline.

Dunno, but I pretty much stopped watching Cartoons aside from animated films like Disney ones since a few years ago. Dunno why but a few of them that I tried just didnt make me interested on keep watching them and the few I watched a few years ago, I dropped them due to dragging on or they finished (I still watch anime though)

That's probably my biggest complaint with Three Houses, honestly. They have so much story to tell, but since 80% of that story happens post time skip they only have like 10 chapters to tell it.

That's the problem when you get lots of different path unfortunaly in one single game, you get different way of seeing the conflict/characters, yes, but that also mean, no matter how much hard work you put or time you have to work on it, you have to compromise on some aspect of the story or the game to make it in time or not make the budget go through the walls.

Granted, like you said, 3H is still a great game all around, but you can definitly feel some shortcut here and there that are easy to see, and considering that they had to delay the game and ask for Koei help for loooots of stuff, it really make you think how much worse it could have gone if it weren't for good planning and the like.

I'm not saying I don't expect to see character 4 in the General Direct (and 5 at the TGAs), I just don't expect them to be the 'one last thing' - it's more likely to start off the direct (Hero) or perhaps be dropped towards the end (Banjo), but not the end itself. Didn't realise about Cloud, but I guess his inclusion in Smash was pretty mind blowing, so unless the September Direct ends with Master Chief or something, there aren't really many other characters who could bring the same kind of 'big finish hype'

Anyways, I'd honestly prefer it not to end on a Smash reveal, as I feel the 'one last thing' is a good opportunity to tease big and exciting new projects, not 'hey here's another addition to an already huge and fantastic roster' - a whole new game >>>>>> a proportionally small addition to an already massive game

Can't say who the last two are, but I made this, as this seems to be the most commonly talked about characters.

- Lloyd: Bandai Namco character, previously had a Mii costume. Pops up in rumors here and there.
- Crash: Platforming mascot, renewed interest with N Sane Trilogy and CTR.
- Ryu Hayabusa: Tecmo character, would be a new Japanese company to work with, long legacy.
- Doom: Sakurai mentioned Doom's creator as father of FPS's, and renewed interest with Doom coming to Switch.
- Heihachi: Bandai Namco character, Tekken has already crossed over with Pokken, had a Mii costume.
- Dante: Capcom character, popular new game with Devil May Cry 5, which came out this year.
- Phoenix Wright: Capcom character, legacy with Nintendo and popular choice among fans.
- Jill: Could also be Chris or Leon, Capcom character, represents survival horror, Capcom's highest selling franchise.
- Sans: Could also be Frisk. Would represent indie games. Very popular among fan polls, as well as popular in Japan.
- Geno: Very popular among fan polls, previously had a now missing Mii costume, and the starling rumor may be referring to Geno.

Note: I am almost certainly missing some characters (tried to choose characters most talked about, not my favorites, otherwise I would have included Sora). I picked the best render I could find, not necessarily what might likely be in Smash. The colors mean barely anything--just to be pretty.

I agree, though that's again because I'm going based off of what I see, as objectively as I can, rather than what I think is likely or want. Sans is surprisingly high in the fan polls, and when talked about it's usually Sans. But it doesn't make sense given the series itself, Toby would likely prefer Frisk (from what I hear), and it makes sense for Frisk given how Smash characters are usually introduced.

If we do get an Undertale character, I really don’t think it would be Sans. Frisk is the protagonist, and could represent Undertale better.

Alternatively, Sans is the face of the game. The mascot. We did get Pikachu long before we got Red, after all.

And even then we got Robin before we got Chrom.
