If anything fits a rabbit pokemon, its fighting because have you ever fought a rabbit? I have and she left scratches all over my arm. And rabbit kicks, oh man Rabbit kicks hurt like hell and when they bite, they bite

I would've preferred a design that makes it look like a track runner or a football (soccer) player, but some type of fighter works too.

As long as they do something that involves the rabbit's foot feet, I'm cool.

I only now realized that my dumb fingers didn't drag Rolycoly up to A tier where I meant to put it.

If it sounds cool to you then more power to ya. I’m not here to **** on anyone’s good time.

It just sounds really generic to me, and I’m not down with it.
I mean, we havent even seen it yet so if I were you, I wouldnt assume it would look bad or be bad just because it might be a type you dont like.

I dont like poision types but Skuntank looks cool to me

Welp. Just what I expected, looks like Disney just axed the Mega Man movie Fox was working on.

It seems to be one of many projects shelved in order for them to focus on less risky films after the Fox division reported a $170 million loss thanks to recent flops like Dark Phoenix

Ok. So I just looked through your roster again. And I have a few notes.

1. Persona 5 is way more popular than 4 ever was. So I would swap Yu out for Joker. Especially since you used Snake and Cloud
2. I would bring back everyone from the first game. Even if it made a few weird choices, there was no real reason to cut any one character.
3. This is just me, but I feel like Sephiroth is worthy of being the third and final exception to your “one character per franchise” rule.
1. That's a good point and something I considered. I originally planned to have Joker instead of Yu, but decided against it simply to help the game differentiate itself from Smash, which is something they'd really need to focus on.

You could say the same thing for Cloud and another Final Fantasy character, but Final Fantasy VII is just too huge and important to not only PS but gaming as a whole to ignore for someone like Tidus. Persona 5 didn't redefine what an RPG, or even just a game in general could be. It was just more popular than the last game in the series, just like P4 was to P3. I think it's fine to have Yu in the base game to differentiate from Smash, and have Joker as DLC.

2. I feel like there's no need to bring back Big Daddy and Isaac Clarke. They are in no way PlayStation icons and were only in the first game because Sony just tried to strike whatever deals they could to get more characters, and they were easy to get to promote a new game. Bioshock and Dead Space has simultaneous launches on PS#, 360, and PC. No clue why they were in in the first place.

3. I don't know how I didn't think of him, but I'd still pass as he represents the same exact game as Cloud. He'd be essential to the potential villain-themed sequel, or maybe he could even be DLC.

It seems to be one of nearly 300 Fox projects shelved in order for them to focus on less risky films after Dark Phoenix completely bombed

if Detective Pikachu and the Sonic Movie Redesign are any implication, I think that a Live Action Mega Man would be awesome

Tbh, it was like one of the few video game movies I was personally looking forward to.

It could've made a fun summer popcorn flick.

Really hoping it gets picked up by another studio

Actually, I'm still worried about the Sonic movie. Sonic's design was only part of the problem I had with the preview we got. The writing and comedy for instance...
y'know what
even if it sucks, I'm gonna love it to bits
my inner 8-year-old is still freaking out over the fact that there's a sonic movie at all

Fox: "I have an idea."
Disney: "No."

I mean, they're a business. I don't blame them. After Dark Phoenix they likely want Fox to rebuild moviegoer trust with less risky endeavors for a bit before trying something like a Mega Man movie.

It's okay to be disappointed but it makes total sense from a business standpoint.

I don't blame them for not wanting to risk it, but at the same time, Disney has been okay with making movies that they should've known would be box office bombs shortly after a rough draft of the script was made. Mars Needs Moms, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and A Stitch in Time are the more recent examples. Their own studios have had to prove themselves from time to time.

Personally, I would've preferred they delay the movie and have the team work on other projects instead of just scrapping it altogether.
