Fortnite was believed to be the death of Minecraft, and Overwatch had some... issues that made it... "bad" (though the issues were pretty big on some of them)

Oh wow. What issues involving Overwatch occurred?

FE has been treated fairly well in the past

One way it isn't is in terms of stages. Only three in total, and only one is a specific location from a specific game instead of being catch-all. This is another reason why I doubt 3H content in the pass.

A LOT of balancing issues, characters were unnessecarly nerfed, tech was removed, some characters remained dominating the field because they weren't touched, then there was the faltering interest due to the BR genre.

There was also some toxicity going on with the playerbase, but that's not the games fault.

And of course, the was the OVERWATCH IS SJW crowd which I won't touch.

If I'm being completely honest, it kinda sounds like you're convincing yourself to believe the best-case scenario for a character you want to get in Smash.

I'm not saying Crash won't get in Smash, but you have to at least consider the many outcomes where someone else (particularly those who are "less hype") gets in instead. Not doing so is taking a huge unnecessary gamble. Just ask Geno's supporters when they saw Ridley and K. Rool and celebrated too early.

I know. I was one of them. But I was also a Banjo supporter who was certain of it even before it happened. Not only that but I was certain of the exact way and order that he’d be revealed. I’m not saying it will happen. But this is my prediction and I’m sticking to it.

Still, stages and items are the only areas where it's lacking. It's got three ATs now and an abundance of Spirits. Needless to say, it's also being treated well in terms of characters.

I don't think anyone can really complain about FE's lack of representation anymore. It's doing fine.

Nope. I feel like you’ve got all the options covered. Although I feel like there needs to be some room in the speculation for something redic like Kratos or Goku.

I really should've made K. Rool Steel/Fighting, that was such a missed opportunity. As for Banjo and Isabelle, I'd prefer them as they are. Banjo isn't really a skilled fighter or anything, and Isabelle has no connections to fairies or fairy like attributes.

Dark Samus has no poison moves in Smash, so I wouldn't really change that. As for Meta Knight, yeah, I should've made him Flying/Steel.

In Smash and in Splatoon, the Inkling's ink doesn't have any poisonous attributes.
