I don't mind forces, but to follow Mania with even anything less than "good" was going to be seen as a disappointment.
Forces is aggressively average.

Yeah, Forces is just kinda average: It's definitely not an objectively "bad" game, but it's reaaaaaaaally low down on my Sonic tier-list due to just how much personal disappointment I had with it. Like, depending on my mood, I sometimes feel like the ironic "so bad it's good" enjoyment I get from '06 is more entertaining than anything Forces had to offer. Which is crazy, I know, but that's just how I feel. '06 I can at least enjoy in an ironic kind of way with just how bad it is, Forces however is just...boring. It's an extremely bland and boring experience to me.

As I said though, just my own personal ramblings, lol. I know there are people who love Forces and that's rad. :dr^_^: It just let me down personally. :drshrug:

I still need to finish Sonic Adventure. I'm always getting distracted just messing around and spin dashing everywhere and using everything as ramps. I especially love going to the upper floor of Casinopolis as Sonic just because I can.

Sonic Forces would've been much better if every Modern Sonic stage was designed more like Mortar Canyon (multiple pathways and actual platforming...except maybe make it so you can't boost over everything) and Classic Sonic was axed entirely.

Controls also need crazy amounts of fine-tuning. The amount of precision that was lost from Colors and Generations is insane, which is part of why I honestly can't believe Sega was telling the truth when they said Forces was made by the same team.

Funny thing is I think you can just boost over half the stage.

Yeah, I addressed that in my post.

The stage had a ton of potential and was infinitely more interesting than every other Modern Sonic level in the game, though. I just wish that it wasn't so easy to cheese and lasted longer than a minute.

A) I don't use Twitter(not my cup of tea)
B) even if I wanted to, my parents have locked my phone(and nearly any electrical device near me) down, so it's not like I could even if I wanted to.
I'm typing this while on hotspot data.

I actually have ChuChu Rocket for the GBA (together with Columns as a 2-1 compilation) and love it. As for Skies of Arcadia, from what I've read the GC is much better, if only due to loading times? Always been meaning to grow my Dreamcast collection, namely Crazy Taxi and Daytona USA.

GCN version of Arcadia is better, yeah. I still gotta go back and finish it, I started a play through ages ago and was loving it, but put it down for a bit and unfortunately never got back to it.

I caught up on the last two episodes of the Pokémon anime. They’ve been pretty good.

Seems like Gengar will return and Ash might catch it. The leon and lance fight is pretty great and has a lot of solid animations.

Hope we see more interactions and battles like this. Leon’s lines and voice actor are perfect in the subbed version.

The outcome is also interesting because:

leon beats lance and becomes the world champion. Meaning he canonically is the strongest character in the series atm
Also eternatus appears and apparently pokeMon can dynamax in the wild in the anime.

As team rocket pissed a drednaw off that dynamaxes and starts causing destruction.

It can also extend its neck by like 14 feet lol.

Next week though is Ash vs Leon and we might be seeing the return of fat Pikachu so that should be good
