For the same reason why we cant have N64 on the WiiU.So there was this fake leak saying the 3DS would have SNES titles coming to its eShop.
Ugh. Why can't it happen.
Has Bayo, Kirby, Link and ParappaOn a different note, the other day someone got me thinking about something.
Basically, I made a self-imposed challenge to make a traditional fighting game roster. But not just any roster: a roster of video game icons from any and all major companies, or games in general. I also imposed the rules of no more than ten characters per company, and no more than one character per series. These two rules were to ensure no company biases.
From the start, I wanted to choose the cast based on a few merits: many, if not all, are gaming icons, some are big cultural icons, some pioneered different game genres, some are just overwhelmingly popular, and some offer really unique fighting styles (this last one was put in more so as to why some characters didn't make the cut, or why they were chosen over the series' main character).
I also didn't want the roster to be too huge. It clocks in at 52 characters.
Also lol at my MSPaint skills.
So...would you play it? Any choices you find odd or intriguing? This was a fun challenge to do, IMO.
My God. The Phanphy are multiplying!Well, how do you like it?

You have no idea how much I finally want to play Super Metroid, but for whatever reason I'd much rather play it on my 3DS than Wii U. With a Wii U I have a greater chance of being distracted by Smash Bros, Earthbound or Disney Infinity. So there was this fake leak saying the 3DS would have SNES titles coming to its eShop.

I would play any smash games. Great drawing. On a different note, the other day someone got me thinking about something.

That seems really dim-witted. N64 worked on Wii; they have no excuse. inb4 the new membership has you paying to go online just like Xbox Live and PSNFor the same reason why we cant have N64 on the WiiU.
And that reason is DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUR (hopefully the new account thing will bring some new changes to that)
I'd like that too. lolYou have no idea how much I finally want to play Super Metroid, but for whatever reason I'd much rather play it on my 3DS than Wii U. With a Wii U I have a greater chance of being distracted by Smash Bros, Earthbound or Disney Infinity.![]()
My Paint skills are a lot worse than that.On a different note, the other day someone got me thinking about something.

Franklin is a wierd one, Im not a fan of straight-up humans that can only do guns in fighting games in general (like Drake or Joel)On a different note, the other day someone got me thinking about something.

But you see, if they did put N64 games on the Wii U, then that would take time out of GBA games. And that's terrible. For the same reason why we cant have N64 on the WiiU.

Actually wait I retract my previous statementOn a different note, the other day someone got me thinking about something.

I know what you mean. The wii u has much more virtual console choises. Wish the ds had more so you can play it on the goYou have no idea how much I finally want to play Super Metroid, but for whatever reason I'd much rather play it on my 3DS than Wii U. No.Nah. Smash Bros. is clearly a band.
It's Windows 8.1 all over again.Aye! What manner of Hoo Hah sissiness is this? A new thread that's a continuation of the previous?! This is new. It's like a new chapter of the same story and not an overall sequel. Although this story sucks but so be it. Hopefully a magical crabcake wizard makes an appearence or something. One can dream.![]()
I only know about 38 of those characters. My gaming knowledge is rather limited to Nintendo and PC.
Yeah all the other companys are taking money from your pocketsHas Bayo, Kirby, Link and Parappa
I'm sold
I hope not, Nintendo doesnt have the infrastructure that could excuse having to pay money for. That seems really dim-witted. N64 worked on Wii; they have no excuse. inb4 the new membership has you paying to go online just like Xbox Live and PSN
But companies need money to live.Yeah all the other companys are taking money from your pockets
I can actually explain the Franklin thing! :DFranklin is a wierd one, Im not a fan of straight-up humans that can only do guns in fighting games in general (like Drake or Joel)
Also my inner fanboy is screaming about choosing Scorpion over Sub-Zero. In the end, they are unseparatable (except that one game where they got separated)
In the end, my list would be wildly different, but I would play your version (Dante is all I need in life)
Paid membership service doesn't get you anywhere. It only makes people want to play less. Then I will quit gaming.Seriously, Nintendo is the only one having a free online service. They should keep it like that.
We noticed. April 1 doesn't seem like a great day to do this.. for obvious reasons. As a result, I call this fake.
wow
>rumored April 1
Sheesh SmashRiver, we're only 2 days away from April Fools..
I'm going to refrain myself and better grab some popcorn.
Note this is coming from the same guy who thought bringing twitch chat is a good idea.Sheesh SmashRiver, we're only 2 days away from April Fools..
Here you go.I'm going to refrain myself and better grab some popcorn.
Play video.
Never playing it. No Yoshi, no life.On a different note, the other day someone got me thinking about something.

Honestly, Trevor would make most sense since he has the most "interesting" fighting style, is the most popular and unique of the three protagonists, plus his abbility is scrictly hand-to-hand focused. Slowing down time ONLY in cars isnt going to help Frankling in a car-less enviromentI can actually explain the Franklin thing! :D
Okay, so I really thought there should be a character from Grand Theft Auto just due to the cultural reasons surrounding the game. The game gets talked about a lot. I looked into which characters can offer something neat, and of the three GTAV characters, Franklin had, IMO, the most interesting ability. He can slow down time when driving. I figure this, combined with the fact that he could use a more "street thug like" style for hand to hand combat given the nature of his source material, made him the best choice for a GTA character in my eyes.
With Joel, I chose him not alone, but with Ellie, as well. I figure there could be some sort of survival gimmick, or resource management, combined with some duo mechanics.
And Drake could just take a lot of his moves from PSASBR, in addition to a climbing gimmick I was thinking about.
Picking between Subzero and Scorpion was my hardest choice.
Don't forget these.Here you go.

Dis gon b gud.
I was also toying with the idea that the environment wouldn't be carless necessarily. I kind of had this really crazy idea in mind that's somewhat based on one of Sam Flynn's abilities in Disney Infinity, haha.Honestly, Trevor would make most sense since he has the most "interesting" fighting style, is the most popular and unique of the three protagonists, plus his abbility is scrictly hand-to-hand focused. Slowing down time ONLY in cars isnt going to help Frankling in a car-less enviroment. But as far as GTA protagonists go, it would have gone with Niko or Claude (CJ has potential for a crazy movelist as well)
