I was also toying with the idea that the environment wouldn't be carless necessarily. I kind of had this really crazy idea in mind that's somewhat based on one of Sam Flynn's abilities in Disney Infinity, haha.

Though, IIRC, isn't Franklin the only of the three protagonists who is guaranteed not to die in the story? That admittedly also factored in to my pick, haha.

Anywho, I went and played the first 3 levels of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Crotex to see if it works due to buying it at a vintage game store. While I love that it copies the gameplay of the PS1 Crash Bandicoot games (most specifically it's a Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped level pack), I can see lots of glaring issues:

- I see some frame rate issues
- Sound is absolutely berserk: Sometimes TOO loud or sometimes too quiet
- I don't know if it's because of the Smash 4 GameCube controller but the controller vibration is pretty violent
- When the background music loops, you can hear it pause abruptly.
- The graphics seem pretty dated, even by GameCube standards

Not truly surprised as Naughty Dog didn't work on this. But paying $4 for it I can't complain too much.

I had it on PS2 long ago, but never noticed any sound or music issues. Huh.
