Well, I've been taught British English all my life, and I don't see a need to change it just because the site is American.

Well it IS a mental problem. But to be more accurate, it's a cognitive disorder with no discernible origin or explanation as to why it exists.

People just turned it into an insult/excuse, which gives the disorder itself a bad reputation.

Wich is why it has no meaning anymore. When you say this word, people always take it as an insult or use it as an excuse.
I had a friend who was autistic. His mother refuse to believe he has an autism, thus giving him no help. But when she needs to make him enter a special school, suddenly she uses it as an excuse. The only thing that saves him from being insocial is the internet. I couldn't anything since his mother don't want to hear a thing about it.
It's a sad story, but it proves how people can be horrible with this mental problem.

I doubt his name or likeness will ever be revealed but I'm kinda curious as to why this person would risk a job with Nintendo to leak this. • There is no organization!

I don't really thing the fact that it's 'autism' that ruins the meaning. It's just the easy exploitation of it that can be used as a simple excuse, and thus ruins its reputation.

Have you seen a football match where a football player makes a "slight kick" to the back of his leg look like he broke it? You know, throw yourself on the ground in false agony on the off chance of brandishing a penalty on the other side? Or examples of insurance fraud where they make an injury look even worse, just so they can score cash? Heck, just look at this.

Just listen to some of the stupid court cases in this video. They're downright insane, yet incredibly exploitative and scandalous.

Autism is just a really easy excuse to pull off, or just to say. Not much different from other 'excuses'. It's just used universally to the point it's hard to believe. Autism IS still a legit psychological issue.
