I am sensing some form of implication that being trapped in a chocolate factory would be any degree of a bad thing.

It's possible, but the amount of people who actually have a true chocolate allergy and not an allergy to anything else that's common in chocolate bars (like milk) are almost non-existant.
I am not, but I know for sure that people may get allergic reactions to chocolate depending on the ingredients it contains.
