You need a badge to enter any part of the con. And there won't be any practice stations during the tourney (at least not for the first three hours or so).

We have the Wii, we have the DS Lite (white), we have the preorder for Brawl paid off, so everything is set.

BYOC is fine.

Last year the tourney ended around 7pm. Remember, we had 87 people enter last year. There's a lot of stuff you can d besides the tourney. We're also having a dance (college girls ftw) at night, form 10pm to 1am. So you can just hang around for that and everything else. Also, the console gaming room is open from 10am to 1am, so after the tourney there's about six more hours of smash if that's all you're into.

Results:

Winner: DieSuperFly (a Wii)
Second: Jay (DS)
Third: Tristan (brawl pre-order)

The live feed was hilarious, and I'm going to do it a lot more.

Good stuff. I love it, especially for my first tournament.

I was the one named "andrew" with the rapeful pink Falcon. Even though I sucked, i *****, because, well, I was CF.

Sup festizzio. I was the one you kept upsmashing on the platforms, right before you left the place. >_> Nice matches.

Just got back. That was sweet as hell. My friend and I had some team friendlies against DSF and his girlfriend at the end and got ONE SMASH away from winning. I got kicked out of the loser's bracket by a link that wasn't that good (phantasm off the edge for the lose! xD), no offense to the link, whoever he is. I was Comeback. Doc and Falco (and a few Ness matches). Anyone play me?

Thanks for coming out guys, especially to whoever was in the dorms and brought their copy and mem card.

Seriously, that went really well considering someone stole half the games and all the memory cards...

**** you :)

we need to play again sometime, I'm garbage against anyone other than top/high tier characters...

That was me, and no problem. Running to the dorms and back was well worth the good times. Will we get brackets/results or anything?

I really think we should have these things more than once a year. I never get to go to these, they are so much fun. I was I think the only Yoshi player there.

Encoding these videos ... I don't think I've ever armchair-quarterbacked more in my life. 20-minute sets that shouldn't even be that long. =(

Hey the rest of the nezumi vs. festizzio matchup won't play, gets to about 4:10 and it stops; I thought you might want to know. Unless it's just me in which case: troubleshooting time. Oh and I didn't know that marth guy was jay, man I used to play you a lot at the toy mandala tourneys, I completely forgot you were so good.

I remember Joe/Embrace talking about this tournament a long time ago at Steven's pool after the Oxnard tournament Otto went to. The stories of Tristan (Jopez), Launchpad, Circle (Embrace), and D@MN! (Joe). haha
