Mega Man´s got huge chances. Wouldn´t mind to see him either. If Namco for some ungodly reason gets a representative, it´ll be Bomberman. On the other hand Konami might be able to get a second character in, in which case, Simon Belmont. Soma has a small chance.

The only appropriate Square-Enix representative is Moogle. Enough with the Cloud/Sora crap.

Bomberman's with Hudson which, I've heard is now with Konami....

And I believe he has the same chances if not greater then Megaman's.

Pacman doesn´t have a lot in terms of move repetoire.

But yeah, he´s probably more likely. I´m just saying I´d like it if Klonoa appeared as a Namco rep.

Waiting for you to slip up.
Klonoa and Sonic are be shoe ins, at least, IMO.

Also, due to Mario Hoops 3 On 3, I hope to see a Final Fantasy character.

Finally, I always have had a dream to add Bomberman and/or Megaman to Brawl.

CURSE ME NOT BEING SAKURAI!!!

Sonic is in already, and how is Klonoa a shoe in?
Mind you, I think Klonoa would be awesome in Brawl, but really doesn't have a chance.
And yes, I agree that a Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts character deserves to be in Brawl.

How does a Kingdom Hearts character deserve to be in SSBB? The franchise is by all means new and has practically nothing to do with Nintendo.

Just because you like it doesn´t mean it deserves it.

There was a Kingdom Hearts game for the Gameboy, therefore giving Sora a good chance to be in Brawl, what with his big fanbase and all. Not to mention it would be a good business move against Sony and because a new KH game is heading to the DS.

I'm not talking that much about Megaman.
I just noticed your avatar so I felt that would be a good example.

Klonoa and Pac-man doesn't seem to me like they have much of a chance. Nothing has really been said about them.

Square Enix characters are a bit of a stretch also, especially their FF and KH characters. Those two franchises are big symbols of Square and, I don't think they would want to share the associated with Nintendo.
Maybe a lesser know character (Geno I guess...) but not anyone from FF or KH.
That's like Microsoft letting Nintendo use their big symbol, Master Chief.
( The company gets to choose if they let Nintendo use a character, there is no way for Nintendo to use 3rd party characters as a business move against a company!!!!111!!!!one!)

I know I must have said this like 5 times but:

Megaman- has that whole Cryptic message thing, plus his Thread's size is second only to Sonic's, which is in now. That and Capcom has been saying that they have a big announcement. Oh, and it's almost Megaman's 20th anniversary ( sometime in December i think) a perfect time to reveal him.

Bomberman- from Hudson which are the developers of The Mario Party games, which means Hudson has already had a successful relationship with Nintendo, thats got to be a factor. That and Bomberman has already been in games with Snake and Wario ( there could be a reunion in Brawl).
Also there is this
Another person's findings:

On Yasunori Mitsuda's website it states:

Mr. Mitsuda arranged 2 tracks to Dairantou Smash Brothers X! (Wii game software) The original game was released under NINTENDO64 platform, and the up-coming game software under Wii contains the arrange version. (http://mitsuda.cocoebiz.com/news/news.html)

Now if we go check out his discography page, he's only done OST work for two games for the N64: Mario Party and Bomberman 64. (http://mitsuda.cocoebiz.com/profile/resume.html)

I can't imagine for there to be two Mario Party 1-related tracks in SSBB, so I think it's a fair conclusion that one of those tracks would be from Bomberman 64. And if you have a Bomberman music theme, you need to have a stage to go along with it, and with the stage, you need the character to go along with that as well...

SUMMARY: BOMBERMAN IN SSBB(?)
WHAT CAN BE SAID AGAINST THIS!?
Answer-nothing

So in short- Two Mans left. Bomberman or Megaman. One of them or both of them?

That doesn´t explain how Sora (or any other KH character) deserves to be in Brawl.

Xengri... The people working on the OST don't say much. Not unless you want to confirm Sora as well. :p

They got the guy who does the Wii channel music, that doesn't mean Miis are gonna be fighters.

LOLOLO

HOW ABOUT MUSICIANS COMPOSING PIECES NOT FROM THE GAMES THEY´VE WORKED ON BEFORE?

There´s a musician who´s only worked on Killer7 and Contact, so the Smiths are confirmed for Brawl right?

Then the way you logic works, nobody deserves to be in Brawl.
What is your definition as to who "deserves" to be in Brawl.
Snake and Sonic are both characters who have existed for about twenty years. They started their life in a Nintendo system and have had many releases in Nintendo consoles.

Sora´s first appearance was only a couple years ago, and of the three games he´s been in the two big ones have been on the PlayStation 2. The most minor of these three was Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, which was on the Gameboy Advance. Sora began life in a Nintendo console.

Sonic is iconic to videogames in general; Sora isn´t. Snake isn´t so much either, but Kojima "begged" for him to be included back when Melee was in production. Square-Enix will by no means be begging for Sakurai to include Sora.

So there.

The whole musician composing music not worked on before makes sense, if they were asking the musician to make new music. But the article says that they bought 2 already made songs from the N64.

Well, so far we've got Snake and Sonic joining the Brawl. Now we're hoping for Mega Man and Pac-Man will be the next ones for Brawl.

What makes you guys believe that Pac-man or a Square character would be in anyway? Not saying they shouldn't be in, but why do you think they have a chance?

You know there's been several newer editions of PacMan since the old arcade days...
Yes, and they were horrible. If Namco gets a character in, it should be someone else. Pacman should be an assist trophy--pixelated Pacman, mind you.

What would he do? Eat the enemy?
Okay, I've already destroyed that argument. -_-

Seriously, though... I do hope Pac Man doesn't get that spot. I see nothing fun about playing as him.

Nah, it'll probably be Megaman. I was looking around, and Megaman #1-7 are all on NES and SNES!

Nightmare doesn´t fit with the Super Smash Bros. atmosphere at all. Mitsurugi´s more of a main character to the franchise, anyway.
