...BF is ic's best stage against MK aside from FD lol and possibly Pictochat >_>. I've beaten Ally/Dojo/Tyrant on bf in tournament lol as well as many others including 3 stocking inui with 13%. I also 2 stocked domo the last two times I've played him on BF in tournament(the first time I got no grabs).

You basically just blizzard camp under the platforms and uair right after they use a jump and dair when they are dair camping(they all do). You pretty much always have the % lead this way and MK has almost no options to approach you because the way the platforms are set up. It's also the easiest stage to punish their tornado on, you get free uairs all the time and nair -> IB reset grab at low %'s happens more often than you would think.

Really, it's really simple on BF and wayyy more complicated on other stages. Could just be me personally though.

@ Hylian- I actually like Lylat and BF for those reasons.

The trade on Lylat is that I have personal anti-nado issues. So the moving nature of Lylat messes with Top level MK's nado spacing. So if I'm playing an MK that is good at shield pressure with Nado, I'll CP to Lylat.

I like SV if the MK is bad at Nado but uses it a crap ton to turn the matchup in their favor.

I try to strike to either BF or YI to sort of get a feel for the matchup. If it's on BF I play more grab setup things based on platform pressure. If I'm on YI, I'm more mindful on how they are zoned vertically/horizontally, less grabs but safer options too.

And Yes, my entire CP system against MK revolves around if they are good with Nado or not. It's the trade off of the high level desynced game. I limit every option BUT Nado, but one Nado makes all hell break loose lol

Lux, why are you happy they banned one of MK's worst stages? I'd rather see RC xor Brinstar banned so I only have to worry about getting gayed at Delphino, which isn't really that bad in comparison.

Really? I've never had a problem with picto's randomness. I just thought everyone was being a *****. I seriously doubt any character CPing Icies there that isnt DK or Sonic.

Coreneria is just asking for wall infinites and a tiny deathbox.
RC is fine. If you're smart you don't get killed by picto, with the exception of hanging on the left side when the division symbol comes, but you should know when there is no transformation there, and the division symbol hasn't come yet, it has a chance to appear.

I think we should have gotten rid of RC or Brinstar. Not because either are too random for the game, but it defeats the purpose of true CPing vs MK IMO. Every single time you're up against MK, you know you're going to be brought to one of those. They should have eliminated one of them so the ultiamtum wouldn't exist.

Wario loves them too. RC is my least favorite. I can't even play it. The fact that it's a moving stage kills me. I always have a SD in it.

Wario may be good on it, but ZSS does excel at both of those stages. But when fighting against MK on rainbow i hate it. I'm not Nick Riddle, so i have problems of getting gimped easily. Not on brinstar though, i like that stage alot.

I know where your going with this, however how else do you get expierience? I have a good lay out for it. And would make it really easy for others to use. But I would want the matchup thread reactive so we could work together on stage matchups from character to character.

I think that tells you a lot about experience. He's a Researcher, been here slightly longer than you, and has a significantly larger post count.

Actually, the time they've been around is pretty similar. That surprises me. Also, postcount means nothing. There are plenty of people with a lower postcount than me that are better, and I know I can beat a good chunk of the people with higher postcounts. Not gonna lie though, Lux has traveled to multiple states/regions to play this game and does have way more exp.

In reality though, I don't think it matters who runs it; if it were to be run in a way similar to the character matchup thread, which pretty much means just summarizing/quoting what others in the thread say. I would obviously prefer Lux on it, but if Mr. g&w would update it more frequently and such (since he always seems to be here)/make it prettier.. then maybe that should be considered.

Honestly though, I care more about updated character matchups.
