My grandma's out of town till the 20th, so you guys can show up at about 3pm or later on the 10th, and stay till I have to go to work at 9:30pm on the 11th.
For special people, I may let them stay in my house past that, as well.

I'll probably appoint someone to be in charge when I go to work on the 11th, and let people that I know well enough to trust stay.
So you should be cleared to stay till soft's.

Are the top 10 players gonna be here so we can do the round robin?
wait, you seriously want to do that round robin tourney, and you seriously want to have all 10 people at 1 tourney to do it?
You know that aint gunna work.
Since it's supposed to determine the ranking, you might as well do it over the course of like, the next 4/5 tournies, so that everybody actually HAS A CHANCE to play everybody. And also, rather than make it a seperate tourney, you can let people count their pools/bracket matches.
That way, if chaddd plays xif in brackets, and beats him in brackets, he doesnt have to do it again in a seperate side tourney.
The "side tourney" part of it should be for people who dont get the chance to play against each other.

Besides, if you want to try to do all of this in one tourney, that might as well be the **** tourney, cause what are you going to do? Rope off one tv and say "HEY GUYS TOP 10 ONLY GTFO"

@Mike G + Dogy- I have no problem with your statements about the RR thing, and yes I think its the best way to make an accurate top 10 at this moment. I honestly see no other alternatives.
And I give a big thumbs up to your idea about just keeping records when top 10 players play each other in tournament to complete the RR.
And YES, I could rope off a TV and say "GTFO, top 10 onry

I'm off work monday/tuesday night, so I figured I'd host a smashfest at my place tuesday.
Rather than create a whole new thread, I decided to use my old one.
Location is in original post, we'll probably get started around 3pm-ish.
Melee OR brawl players are invited.
I've only got 3 tvs, so unless people bring setups there will only be one TV devoted to brawl.
If enough people show up I'll run a tournament.
Who's interested? I know its short notice.
