Wow, you really have it out for me.
I'm unsure how having Pikachu controlled by Red in the background is any different as a playable character than just having it as pikachu *especially if trainer was indeed going to be in the background but it required too much coding*
But, I will use it to learn if I make it through.

I did tepig, but it wasnt that Bowser wasnt in it, I could have handled that
Too many of the rosters seemed kind of random or unbalanced to me (in terms of Nintendo, which was what I had wanted to vote on.)
...so, I head to do it by the balance presented. Still, a few of these were up there
But ultimately
Mario/Luigi; Pikachu/Pokemon Trainer; DK/K.rool; Kirby/Dedede; Link/Zelda
I just didnt see what the idea was. Wrong side kicks and wrong enemies, the reverse for each of these choices are more iconic
Well, except Zelda, which I found a bit strange withought Peach. Its sort of a grab bag of secondary characters to include.

But at least you included Mario

The choice was between Chase, Tepig2000, and SunnyDust for me.
I can get past Mewtwo before Bowser and Zelda.
But K Rool before all of the villains that have actually got in Smash Bros?
Okay, he's fine before Wolf. But Bowser, Ganon, and Dedede? And Ridley too?
Even before Diddy Kong.
I just can't agree with it, as much as I'd like to see Tepig's later rosters, it's too difficult to get past this, so that's my vote.

Wasn't me. Considered you because of Meowth over Mewtwo or Red, but that's all.

There were 2 much more prominent picks this round. It might have been a guest, who knows?

I still think my roster was awesome, but I'm glad I should still be in. Never believe in playing it safe, that certainly wasn't Sakurai's game. But I should probably not just tailor it to my individual tastes too much, just enough to give it my flare. I hope I make it far enough to implement some of my truly spectacular ideas, mwahaha

Wario : Recurring character in the Mario franchise. Also has his own series which is pretty successful.
Zelda : Ganondorf may be the main antagonist, but Zelda has appeared in more games than him.
King Dedede : More important than Meta Knight.
Little Mac : Punch-Out is the only popular Nintendo series that was missing from my first roster.

Alright, here's mine:

Alright, let's talk about the newcomers:

• BOWSER CLAWS INTO BATTLE - I decided on Bowser due to his importance in the series, and he also was added in the first round by a lot of people.
• WARIO FARTS INTO THE ARENA - Wario was someone I was considering first round, but I decided that 5 Mario-related characters was too much at that point. Last round however, he was the first character I decided on.
• SHEIK APPEARS - While technically not a new slot, I added a new character to Zelda, which I regretted not doing this round.
• VILLAGER COMES TO TOWN - Represents Animal Crossing, Which I consider to be the biggest Nintendo franchise I was missing a character from in the first round.
• MEWTWO STRIKES BACK - Mewtwo was a character I got some flak on for not having in the first round. However, he joins the likes of Pikachu and Meowth on this new roster.
• LITTLE MAC PUNCHES IN - Little Mac was a character I was hesitant on at first. But I eventually succumbed to my temptation and put him in over R.O.B. (who was the highest honorable mention this round).

Wario: Main character of technically TWO series (Land + Ware).
Olimar: Really unique character from a semi important franchise.
Little Mac: See Olimar.
Mr. Game and Watch: Unique character that represents Nintendo's first major success as a gaming industry.

I'm going to add a self imposed challenge for myself. I need to add one of the characters that the person who was eliminated in the previous round.

Either way, here is my new roster.

I added Peach, Zelda, Villager, Olimar and Wario.

Zelda was added because Tepig was the one character. K Rool, Pokemon Trainer and Dedede would make the series have too many character if I did not have a another Zelda.
Peach was added because it would be weird for me to have Zelda and not Peach.
Wario, Villager and Olimar are added for their own series.
