Personally, I think this is turning out pretty well so far! A pretty solid character roster and track selection, not to mention we have an actual damn battle mode this time! With that being said, we're now moving on to...

Job #5: DLC Roadmap​

The roadmap that I have in mind is simple:

• 6 characters
  • Link (Wave 1)
  • Kirby (Wave 1)
  • R.O.B. (Wave 1)
  • Villager (Wave 2)
  • Isabelle (Wave 2)
  • PAC-MAN (Wave 2)
• 4 cups (each with 4 tracks)
  • Triforce Cup (Wave 1)
  • Warp Star Cup (Wave 1)
  • Crossing Cup (Wave 2)
  • NAMCO Cup (Wave 2)
• A handful of vehicles, tires and gliders relevant to each DLC character

For now, we're just going to share our hypothetical roadmaps.

I think since the real 8 dabbled with non-Mario content in the game, we could spread that out a little bit more.

Zelda and Animal Crossing already got characters, and I’d be okay with adding Pikmin and F-Zero to that lineup.

So if I could see a general visualisation of what I’d be looking at:

• 6 characters (split into two sets)
  • Link (Set 1)
  • Zelda (Set 1)
  • Olimar (Set 1)
  • Captain Falcon (Set 2)
  • Villager (Set 2)
  • Isabelle (Set 2)
• 16 tracks across 4 cups, including retro tracks and new courses like in the normal 8.
