Oh, right on topic:
So, what, is there talk of anither event that could yeild Brawl news?
I believe that event is called "Every Weekday."

If that still isn't enough for you (and why wouldn't it be? It's an amazing flow of information.), then you can wait for the Leipzig conference or TGS. Those might have some information about Brawl, but I'm hoping more for this "classic Nintendo franchise" being resurrected.

You're kidding me, right? Is it really THAT big and important?

If you really think there could possibly be news... I'm SO going there.
I live in Leipzig. O_O
Well, its just speculation on my part, but I figure since E3 seems to be on its deathbed, other conferences will gain in importance. TGS has always been important, and the reason I mentioned Leipzig, is that it is undoubtedly huge, (according to Wikipedia, its over 3 times as many people as the old E3 at its height) and in importance, its like the European equivalent of TGS. An event with +100,000 people and over 2600 journalists, would seem like a pretty good place to announce something big. I know that where I'm working is planning on sending a number of people there, and I'll bet the other major companies are too. So that's just my 2cents.

That's awesome that you live around there, you should definitely check it out. Maybe if they do reveal some information about Brawl, you could keep us updated!

Hmm, we'll see... I still doubt that there will be anything huge... but whatever. As a Brawl fanatic, it is my duty to keep my fellows updated. Not to mention it'd sure be a whole lot of fun. ^_^
Maybe we'll get a European release date. Hmm...

It's a darn shame that Nintendo seems so stupidly adamant about telling us as little as possible about Brawl, considering the attention they've given to Mario Galaxy, and even more so to Metroid Prime 3.

Don't get me wrong, I've been following those games as well, and I KNOW that I'll be one of the first people playing MP3 when it comes out. Metroid Prime is an amazing series, if only because it's one of the precious games in the "FPS games NOT based on World War II" category.

But anyway, back to topic. Chances are Nintendo will be planning a separate event for Brawl, seeing as they didn't want anything out at E3 apart from DK coming back and the release date. Here's just hoping the event actually has the "WTF" factor that E3 was sorely missing this year.
True, but we have the updates. And I think that E3 sucked this year. In Nintendo's press confrence, I knew about all the games. The only thing that was good, was the release date and short video of Brawl, and the Wii Fit stuff.

I believe you did. Anyway, Nintendo's Media Conference was dissapointing for hardcore gamers. All they did mostly was talk about how the hardware was making such an impact and show montages. At least we got a release date for Brawl and we're getting Mario Kart Wii(working title) in the first quarter of 2008. It seems they talk more about casual gamers than they do about hardcore gamers. It's not that I don't like it when they talk about appealing to casual gamers. I just think they should focus on both equally, you know what I mean?
