my spring break started today, lasts until the 20th, and i want to play smash with people in my area. i play melee, and also 64. if for some reason you REALLY want to play brawl i guess i'll play it for a little bit, but that game is really boring, especially when you try. but im pretty much amazing at melee so if you want to get better at that game you should come over to my house. i have a cube and a 64

anyone can come over, as long as you have like....basic tech skill and can l-cancel and stuff so i can help you learn a little bit. my parents will probably make us food or give us bananas and stuff. oh yea you dont have to be from 805 if you want to come over, my main goal is to help people in this area get better. if youre coming from far away you can sleep at my house

i made this thread mostly to get from under the rocks the couple random 805 guys who arent as active. i know they're out there. but anyone can come if they want, if its someone good/new/fun whatever im sure we can put together a smashfest of the regular 805 guys (embrace, the great leon etc)

i don't, hell, from turlock the nearst bay area thing was a least 1 1/2 hours, but if you include going to get modesto people at time, and if stockton wanted a ride add 40 min

i used to leave at 8:30 just to get NCB's by 11:30

oh and because i realized i have an app on monday... oh well's

and another cause i won't have free time till 2 weeks from now to smash... unless you decide to come to irvine... but you won't

i think i might be the guy who's gone to 805 the most outside of the 818 area (and even maybe then) and i'm 90 minutes away. no ****ing johns!

anyway i'll still try to go. lovage go to steven's house, we'll set up teams. i'll pick someone up along the way or invite tofu.

i would do this today / tomorrow to be honest so i could stay over for sunday's tourny, but i don't know if anyone else would like to do that...

i had my house open for a complete week
and atlus was the only one out of 805 to come.
once my spring break is over, monday, i can't do anything again.

but it turns out there are a LOT of new comers in the 805 actually though.
like this region might actually get more than 10 people

we convinced tipz and riptide to get back into it and i'm pretty proud at their devotion
when i say come anytime and we'll play they took it to heart.
colin came at like 5 am before he went to school to play
and i've been smashing with erik and him every day of the week. (3 STD's and they came and played tues and monday, and are probably going to call today)
i also had a STD with gunz and atlus too

along with them are 3 or 4 other smashers that are randoms but are getting tech skill and knowledge about the game
every time. all lot of them didn't know where to start and just liked the game so i showed them P's thread and now they're all motivated to try new things. when they play they quote stuff from that thread and it definetely shows they wanna get better.
