Earlier I was busy with adding extra contents onto some of the Super Mario Wiki articles. Of course, they're mostly for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which even included unused materials, such as Metal Face's stock icon.

The only Wiki I really use nowadays is Dude Perfect Wiki.

Dude Perfect isn't really that popular where I live, and I wouldn't be surprised if no one here knows what it is, but still....

I actually read that as Metal Mario's stock icon.

But from what I remember, isn't Ridley the only character you can get a KO counter on? I know he has a Face Icon for that purpose. I thought there might be more, but...

The odd part about Ridley is that he has two different stock icons. The one with the gray head is unused, and while the SmashWiki suggests that that very stock icon is for Meta Ridley, that's probably just speculation.

As for Metal Face, his stock icon is more than likely a beta element. Perhaps Metal Face was originally going to operate in a similar fashion as Ridley in that you'd receive a KO point for defeating him. However, in the final game, defeating Metal Face simply just makes him an environmental hazard for your opponents (much like with what happens whenever Yellow Devil is defeated).

Yep. I remember it being "Ridley's special point". Sakurai really wanted to make the dragon feel special. I'd say he succeeded in that.

One implication is that Ridley was going to be playable at one point, and his moveset being similar to a Smash Bros. one in 4 could imply that alone. However, I think he just didn't know what design to use yet, and that the icon is leftover from Brawl overall, as we know he used contents from Brawl during some of the time. The 3DS showed a ton of data taken from Brawl to help create 4. It could be either case, but Sakurai isn't too clear on what happened with Ridley's development. We're aware he never thought about making him playable during Brawl, and he did note that making Ridley would still be difficult for balance purposes(citing his size as a point. Mind you, it was more that his size is a well known character point and it could make the character look weak to people. He cares somewhat about trying to represent the characters correctly... to some degree). It's strange. He didn't actually say Ridley was intended to be playable during any of that, just that he didn't think it would work out. Hence, we're still left with questions.

Killing liquid metal slimes in DQVII is incredibly satisfying. Been playing the game nonstop since I got back into it. I feel kinda dumb since I was stuck on a boss I didn't realise was an unwinnable battle. I've since smashed past that and made heaps more progress.

Lately I've been wondering if Incineroar is like the Super Macho Man of Pokemon. In Punch-Out!!, the audience dislikes Super Macho Man, much like how Incineroar's entry states that it's disliked by many. The two also seem to have a signature clothesline attack.

It would make sense, considering Incineroar is the "Heel" Pokemon, and that Heel Wrestlers are normally meant to be hated.

I bought the orange Mountain Dew whild I was in the States since it doesn't exist in Canada.

It kinda just tastes like orange jello before it solidifies.

You mean the Mountain Dew Mango Heat Game Fuel?

I didn't like it as there was an unnecessary mild burning sensation.

Wow a new thread. Didn't think that could actually happen with how slow its been on here.

Shaya Shaya you remember that time you recommended to me a bunch of anime? Probably not since its been like over a year but I remember you did. Anyway... I'm here to make sure I got the right one because I'm about to start watching one of the ones you liked a lot. Was Mawaru Penguindrum the one you said you like or was it some other Penguin anime? Probably gonna start watching it now.

Sounds like something I'd say / recommend :p

Is it a comedy? The plot description in Wikipedia certainly made me curious. :p

nvm looks like it does fulfill my weirdness quota.

TIL "Pumped Up Kicks" is actually a song about Columbine and I feel disgusting.

Honestly, when Pumped Up Kicks became popular, me and all my friends interpreted the message as a PSA about public safety.

Something that Sandy Hooke Elementary School should've taken into account about a year later.

I just got back from my first tournament in my new place of living and placed 4th. Super happy with the way I played today and I had a really great time with the people there too!

Yeah. I thought it was obvious.
I never really read or managed to make out the lyrics so I just found the song catchy and upbeat. When I read it and saw "He found his dad's six shooter gun" I was like, "oh." Then "Better outrun my gun/bullet." I was like, "oh." Then I saw the original music video and went, "Ah... I probably shouldn't be dancing to this..."

Technically it's about a kid's thoughts on shooting up a school in general but I appreciate how the song captures a catchy sound with very dark lyrics coated in the mellow sounds.

I enjoy songs that use this technique.

I've been having trouble trying to choose the last Pokemon I want on my team for Pokemon Moon.
One thing I generally try to do is not have two of the same type of Pokemon on my team at once, but I normally allow one exception. (In this case, Minior & Sandygast vs Rowlet/Decudeye)
I'm also avoiding the leaks, so I don't know anything about the unreleased Pokemon.
I'm considering maybe using a Crabrawler or Jangmo-o, but I dunno yet.

Right now I have:
1. Rowlet
2. Sandygast
3. Minior
4. Sandalit
5. Wimpod
6. ???

Only one day left!

The lyrics are, but the video clip is actually a representation of the Columbine massacre.
And yeah, the sound is ridiculously catchy. I can't stop singing it

Tell me about it.

I follow The Great War channel and it makes one video a week (It's about World War 1). I had started from scratch and had seen some ~200 videos and suddenly yesterday they were no longer marked as seen, and popping up in my recommendations again. Jeez.

Apparently someone uploaded the first Pokemon Sun & Moon episodes to Youtube.
They're all in Japanese, though, so I don't understand a thing but I'll still check them out.

Boy I've been busy with some experiments. I've been trying to see how fast and how slow the Mii Fighters are when I make the shortest and thinnest Mii, along with the tallest and fattest Mii.

Based on my research, it seems that the lightest possible Mii has up to 1.22x its normal ground mobility, while air speed was about 1.185x the normal value.

As for the heaviest possible Mii, it seems to have 0.82x its normal ground mobility, while air speed seems to be 0.85x the normal value.

Amusingly, the heaviest possible Mii Gunner ends up running slower than Mega Man's walk speed, while the lightest possible Mii Brawler has higher air speed than Limit Break Cloud, and almost rivals Zero Suit Samus's running speed.

"Are you pumped to meet some Alolan Pokemon?"
"I guess..."
Me in Pokemon Moon. For some reason I'm not that excited to be playing it. Hopefully things get better as I play more.

Well, it's been the forever, huh? I'm still alive, but I just don't do much these days. With how terrible this year is to me, it was also best if I stayed under the radar. I'll save the sad details of some things though.

My next plans? Besides my "shipping" thing still going on and still thinking creative but not motivated much... you can say I'm definitely awaiting for Pokemon Sun which will be released tomorrow (starting with Litten). My current worry in the game is the fashion difference. I kinda wonder if there's a Laurel Crown as a choice or something. I worry about it because I've been maining the male in ever primary Pokemon game I get, and with Fashion still around, I just get curious since I do want an angelic look.

On another note, I just realized Thanksgiving is next week. Time surely flies...
Anything new these days during my absence?

I went to adjust my earphones and accidentally hit it with my nail and made myself dizzy for a few seconds.
I have no idea how.

I've got both games. How about you guys? ¦D

I'm hoping to find a way to get all three starters soon. I'm trying to pick who I want to be my first one right now.
