I preordered the Special Edition of Pokemon Moon today. After telling me about the midnight launch the clerk said from the looks of things, it's going to be the biggest game of the year. That's good to hear, though I'm guessing it might be the biggest game of the year, after Go.

But I go physical for games. Plus I'm a sucker for Special Editions, so the steel case, pin and poster will be displayed with my other special edition game stuff.

Also, really looking forward to the Munchlax distribution. Any way of obtaining a Snorlax early in game is good with me. One of my favourite parts of playing through Y was obtaining Snorlax early in the game.

Pretty much the reason I decided on Moon was so whenever I face Team Skull, I can strike a pose then shout, "In the name of the moon, I will punish you!".

I've never lost a game cart though. Probably because as a child I was OCD about triple checking my carry bag of Gameboy games whenever I took a game out. My crazy protection of my games helps since my copy of Y is where I've got basically all my Pokemon, aside from whatever I obtained in Alpha Sapphire, since I haven't ever paid for Pokemon Bank.

I probably won't be getting the new Pokemon soon after release. I have so much other stuff to do, plus new games are expensive. Even though I kind of want it early, I believe that I can wait for a bit.
(Same thing happened with both 3DS Fire Emblem games, and currently, I don't have any of them.)

I only preorder if the bonus feels worth it. I changed my stance of rushing to get games due to some not being ones I enjoy. I very much did not like 360's version of Sonic Unleashed, for example. Also, it had no preorder bonuses.

So I finally moved from a house to an apartment on the 11th floor. It's pretty nice. Obviously smaller than a two floor house, but it's pretty comfy.
Wi-fi barely reaches my room though, which sucks.
Also bought the Uncharted collection and beat the three games. Among Thieves is my favorite. The combat in 3 pissed me off, with the overabundance of shotgun-toting enemies that soak up bullets like they're Superman then flank you and either kill you in one shot or force you into melee combat while dozens of guys gun you into a paste.

Okay, so... I'm one of the most vehement, bitter people around when it comes to the new Paper Mario on Wii U, but after watching this footage, I have to admit, it looks a little bit better than I was expecting.

Not to say it looks great, by any means... It still looks like a pretty poor excuse for a Paper Mario game, but just the simple of inclusion of talking Goombas and Shy Guys that don't just try to attack you (Basically, NPC's that aren't just friggin Toads) makes it seem leagues better than Sticker Star.

Gives me a shred of hope, and maybe even a shred of interest...

Previously, the only shiny Pokemon I ever had were the Gyarados from Lake of Rage, event Pokemon and some Pokemon from the GTS. That changed today. While breeding to make a living dex to have a massive headstart at completing the dex in Gen VII, I bred a shiny .

I'm so happy I finally obtained a shiny through pure luck. Well, it involved the Masuda method and Shiny Charm but it was still luck.
