I feel so dumb by being mad at this but, like... Why not anyone else?

Kishimoto is such a bad writer when comes to this franchise, damn it.

So, I have not watched/read Boruto or Boruto's Dad, so I have an outside perspective. But there is NO way that Kishimoto is a worse writer than Katsuyuki Sumisawa, and there is NO way Boruto is worse than Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop.

Seriously. Frozen Teardrop has to be the worst anime continuation to ever be officially published. It is an absolute ****show to the point of being hilarious in a The Room kind of way.

For context Naruto IS Hunter X Hunter, there are TOO many parallels.

I no longer play it as much though, I'm incredibly rusty and can't really pull things off like I used to, and I no longer have the dedication to spend that long constantly refining my play when I have a huge list of games that I still want to get through, so Ultimate being easier to pick up and play while still being a fast-paced and aggressive game is more up my alley these days. Of course the difference in content is astronomical at this point, but I'm always a gameplay-first kind of guy.

I feel like I'm still better than what I was during Brawl, but I haven't had much time to play Ultimate due to other more important priorities.

It's sad knowing that I can't sit down and play Ultimate for several uninterrupted hours like I could as a teenager, but I guess that's part of life. Smash is a game that reqires weeks of practice before you can master even just one character, and I don't have that sort of time in my life. In a few more years, I'll probably have kids of my own who I'll have to pass the spiritual baton on to.

At least I'll get enjoyment watching them wreck Cloud players online.

If we're talking shonens, I'm personally more of a MHA and OP kind of guy. Naruto is...okay, but TBH I watched it for everyone except Naruto himself. Kakashi was dope.

I also really like classic DB. DBZ is fun (If you watch Kai. Original's pacing is painful), but classic DB just had a sense of fun and adventure that later DB stuff just didn't have.

I'm actually basically sold on Jump Force ever since Deku was revealed. Even though they all either suck or are just ok, I'm still a sucker for the cheesiness of bad 3D anime games. There's something about them that's so fun for some reason.

I'm engaging in a conversation about an unwanted sequel to another show that I've never had any interest in watching while trying to compare it to a Japanese novel series that nobody here has read.

I'm not a huge fan of Boruto - he's like Gohan, but done extremely poorly. Both are the sons of the main protagonists and heavily contrast with them, but Gohan's actually a likeable character, as opposed to an entitled brat.

Then again, I only liked about half of Naruto, so that probably plays a part in it. I preferred One Piece and Fairy Tail in terms of series that I was reading weekly at the time.

A) The Broly movie is ****ing fantastic and everyone should go watch it.
B) I really want to buy official translations of the new Kenshin arc but Viz Media apparently isn't publishing it anymore due to Watsuki's terrible crime and I'm so conflicted.
C) I just saw an ad for some anime called "I Want To Eat Your Pancreas".

“I want to eat your pancreas” is an uplifting, coming-of-age tale that has captivated the hearts of millions.

Apparently it's some japanese saying that doesn't translate well, which basically means that "I want to eat up all your disease away so you can get better", which is apparently related to the plot of the anime.

One Piece's roster is solid, surprised there are so many. (Though in recent years Nami is never in these, odd)

MHA, is great, I need All Might and Froppy though.

Black Clover is, in a weird spot for me, Idon't know how to feel about it.

I really like the idea behind Jump Force, but the gameplay looks pretty meh, and the artstyle is just downright ugly imo. Would have been cool if they could have convinced ArcSys to do it, it might have been a bit redundant on the Dragon Ball side of things of course, but there's no better developer to do justice to so many series with such varying artstyles, all while actually making a great game out of it.

The only way I will ever be interested in a Jump crossover fighting game is if:
A. It's made by Arc Systems.
B. Has Guts as a guest character.

The DS games were actually really fun. The PS3 game (J-Stars I think it was called?) was trash. I regret buying that.

Jump Force, I'm gonna wait and see what they say in reviews. But the temptation to play as Kenshin against Shishio will forever be present.

I remember that one. Ultimate Stars was it? That game is the best example of taking something done already, and adding you own take on it.

Honestly it would probably be Scorpion if we ever did get a Mortal Kombat Khatacter (that’s a big IF), he’s always been Ed Boon’s favorite.

I’m just a slighty salty sub-zero fan, he’s always second fiddle. Scorpion gets killed for the first time in a reveal trailer, only for another Scorpion to show up and kill Raiden.

OK, why can you KO assist trophies but not Pokemon? It's a weird distinction, and considering Pokemon can faint, an unnecessary one.
