The coolest part of your description is that she's technically made up of all the other brought-up Namco picks in terms of utility. Anything they can do, she can also perform in her own way, making her a walking swiss-army knife.
I mean, nobody was thinking Sephiroth was gonna be DLC before today, either. Nobody thought this image was a hint at anything before today.

That makes no sense and is likely just a mistake. There's a bunch of fanmade remixes going around and Nintendo hasn't taken any of them down, including ones that present themselves as music tracks that should ne in Smash.
IIRC it was uploaded on one of the channels that was uploading leaked music, so it may have just gotten caught in the crossfire.

I'll say that it's both. Seems that both Hitagi, Vergeben... (And some others) heard that Geno wasn't as likely (I mean when you see the list and the competition, of course lmao), Then there also personal bias mixed.

Yeah, they probably don't want music with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at all in the title, even if the music isn't real. Could also just be Nintendo trying to get rid of anything of theirs (or looks like) online without permission, and most likely is.

well it had the stright up SSBU logo on it. They were getting rid of any and all things SSBU. I dont see anything fishy
I wouldn't call Sephiroth a dumb DLC choice.
It's just a Bot Nintendo sent out to eliminate the leaked music, so it probably just removed this one out of shoddy programming. It's no different than Facebook's imperfect face-detecting system.
Especially since they'd probably have to shorten his sword.
