You have to substitute every character from every series in Smash Bros with a Normal enemy from the same series.
Exemple : Mario > Goomba, Sonic > Motobug, etc

My problem with Sephiroth is that Square Enix has more franchises than Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy has more games than just FF7.

Can we at least get Freya, Terra, Bartz or Vivi?

Man I'd kill for Freya, or Kain personally, but anything that isn't FF7 or FF15 wouldn't be as popular.

And even then 15 is only a thing cause Square literally shoved Noctis down people's throats. I love mashing f2 with him in Tekken but man, they were really trying to make back their lost funds with all the DLC stuff they had planned.

At least he has an actual costume that changes his model. Actually, two, counting the AC one without the sleeves.
And they're not that bad. The black one is clearly Zack, and iirc another color was generic SOLDIER.
Pac-man's do suck.
Lucario is up there with worst costumes too, imo.

It’s a lot easier to get mixed up when both versions sound exactly the same and look similar with the only difference being a letter.

I doubt the Chrom picture has affiliation with Sephiroth, but comparing it to the chair theory is not fair, from the beginning the chair theory was stupid and based on conjecture and assumption with no direct visual hints. The Isaac picture is a much fairer comparison, though one could argue that it was teasing him as an assist trophy, given the picture being about assist trophies. You may say "Sakurai would never tease anything below a playable character", and with that, I raise you Ridley being teased as a boss in Pyrosphere in April 2014's Smash direct.

Despite all odds, they finally made training mode actually functional this time!

This is a vast improvement over the older ones and I can definitely see this mode being used a lot more in the competitive scene.
