YES! I can watch it before work! Now it's all about if the leak is true or not. I'm mostly in the true camp (about 70% convinced it's true) but even if it's not the only character in it I truly care about is Banjo-Kazooie. They have a very strong chance of being DLC if they aren't in the base game anyway.

doesn't the existence of this Direct justify why a random French company had the final banner with all those character? I mean, if they reveal the complete roster this Thursday they would want to start promoting the game all November long, explaining the leak.

I'm calling realsies on this one. Verge didn't even ****ing know about K.Rool, so there's no way the shills know every ****ing character in the game to disprove Grinch leak. Sakurai kept a lid on "Everyone is here!", I doubt he paraded the last 7 around on a flag for all to know.

I said it before, unless a direct was revealed soon, the leak would become less and less legit. And whaddya know, a direct announced like a day or so after I said that, and a 40 minute direct at that? Hmm, looks like more evidence towards Grinch being legit...

Well. I'm going to go ahead and say it, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, and will gladly admit it.

I don't think the leak is real. I don't think we're getting 5 unique characters in one direct. People keep saying that 5 characters were shown in a 25 minute direct, but 3 of those characters were echoes. 5 unique characters, completely unrelated to each other so chances of them being revealed in the same trailer are slim. 5 different trailers would be needed. The only other possibility is a Melee or Brawl style trailer where multiple newcomers are shown. But I don't think that's likely. Sorry guys. I think Spirits and online play, as well as other single player modes are going to take up a majority of the direct, and we'll at most get 3 unique newcomers and 2-3 echoes. We'll see.

40 minutes, lads. Any way you swing it, there's going to be something substantial. To say nothing of the fact that the directs themselves are just great entertainment. The playfulness, the bait-and-switch editing, the CG trailers... Nintendo at their very best.
