I decided on buying a milkshake instead personally, but I considered popcorn.

Unpopular opinion: Popcorn is sub optimal. Obviously if it's flavored well, it can taste good. But I feel like other snacks are a better choice 99% of the time. Not only does it dry up my mouth and make me need liquid, but it also causes me lasting aggravation afterwards as I attempt to dislodge tiny kernels from my teeth. It's usually a distraction, and there are always escapees that cause a mess.
