What i mean is that while Simon and Geno are known, they aren't as known as my Boy Shadow

I can't be the only one who feels like Metal Sonic has slightly higher chances of being a Sonic echo as Shadow, right? Sonic Mania is very popular right now and has always been more popular than the most recent game that Shadow was in (Sonic Forces). I don't dislike either character, by the way.

Edit: Missed the part about them both being unique. Tails is obviously more deserving then. He is the Luigi to Sonic's Mario.

Thing is, regardless of whether or not they were involved in the characters creation, Nintendo reps like Bill are given info about characters that are true (so saying Sheik is a girl’s a matter of opinion is wrong). Also, Ruto being tricked into thinking Sheik is a make (something Zelda wanted many to think during this part of OoT) is not definitive proof compared to a Nintendo rep being told something by others something now obvious, and the boob thing...I assume you haven’t played Fire Emblem Awakening cause that’s way too easy to deal with for a woman under disguise...

Sheik is Zelda, so she's a woman regardless of her physical sex. As far as we know, Sheik wasn't anything more than a persona, so it doesn't effect Zelda's gender.

Like seriously. I think Shadow as an echo fighter is super likely, but he's not suddenly not a 3rd party guest just because he's a mainstay in the series. SEGA still has to get involved to use him.

Sonic is pretty big as is, definitely more big than any of the other guests on the show. If any 3rd party series was to get another fighter, I'd place my bet on Sonic getting it. Any other series? Nah, Sonic would just be lucky if I'm being honest.

yeah, Shadow the Hedgehog is a well known character, 2nd most popular Sonic character. He'll create alot of hype

The thing is that, with Ridley, every truly important Nintendo character has finally been added. People will argue that this is not true, and there are still other Nintendo characters that I want who aren't in the roster yet, but objectively speaking, relevant third party characters like Shadow, Sora, and Simon are the only ones that could create a lot of hype now. Just look at the reactions Cloud got compared to every Nintendo newcomer in Smash 4. Like it or not, we have officially reached the "bottom of the barrel" now.

Blaze can create the same hype as well too, and she is very well received just like Shadow is with two great selling games the Sonic Rush series. I agree that Shadow would be hyped (second to Blaze I want him in Smash), but to say he's the only non-OG Sonic character that create hype is a bit misleading.

Honestly Shadow kinda throws the whole Mario analogy out the window. Because of his presence, i can't really consider Tails the Luigi of the Sonic Franchise when Shadow is so popular

Found a nifty little thing while "leak" hunting on GameFAQs. The creators of the roster "leak" where Isaac was a modded Roy came forward and talked about it. Thread link here, but I've also quoted it below:

Remember how there was a topic posted by @yukirinlove about the CSS that was leaked? The one that involved characters like K. Rool, Decidueye, Ashley, and Isaac? That was done by me and her. We were bored one day talking about stuff and decided to try and have some fun. (not like that)

She tried to find some renders and I was in charge of creating the CSS. Quick Q&A.

Q: You're missing (Falcon, Jigglypuff, Ganon, Lucas, etc)
A: Some rows were purposefully missed out but were always in the original image.

Q: Diddy comes before Lucas but is placed after?
A: For placements sake. Dixie was placed next to Diddy on the next row because I didn't want to break them up. Seems like such a Sakurai thing to do (i.e. Yoshi coming in-between the Mario characters, clone corner, etc)

Q: Isaac was a recolored Roy, no?
A: Indeed. He was always meant to be the first one to spot. We never wanted this to last but rather, have a short lifespan to see how long it took.

Q: Heihachi looks completely different from the others?
A: Heihachi is completely new, and posed in an external model program.

Q: There is no cursor over Ashley even though she's selected?
A: Yes. That was an oversight on my part. That is my bad. lol
