This actually looks big, tournament that spans 2 days and could also gather some international interest. The only problem is that it starts on Dec 3. :/

well i started off with my own skin cells, and used a viral vector to insert certain simian genes, i allowed that genetically engineered cell structure to become pluripotent by regressing them epigenetically by removing all cell markers, i then used genetic markers associated with skin and hair, and cultured the tail around a premade tail shaped extra cellular matrix made from collagen of course...(i mean im no amateur!) after the tail had completed i grafted it onto my body using the blood supply from the iliac artiery.

surely you'd need growth factors in this serum as well. Also, once cells are differentiated and know their own fate, they cannot become pluripotent as the cells genetics have changed irreversibly. You would also need more than gene traits for skin and hair to create a tail. You would also need cells for the extracellular matrix (fibroblasts, mast cells, macrophages) without which the epithelial cells won't survive. This also brings into question of blood supply without which the cells would not survive.

He addressed blood supply. Additionally, macrophages would not be a problem as monocytes would migrate from the blood into the tissue.

also extracellular matrix is not made from cells its hard to believe butmuch of the physical scaffolding of your body is simply "not cells", blood supply wasnt a problem, and actually even when cells have become specialised you can still "regress" them by removing all epigenetic markers. its a fairly recent discovery but has been all around the science journals for the last year or so.. that aside i feel it is neccessary to clarify that i didnt actually grow my own tail just pointing out that the idea is not nonsense and is definately theoretically possible, even without simian or saiyan dna RWARR
