Housing is available via my apartment. I think I heard that people can stay at the venue too. Winnings are split 60-30-10 from what I know. If you can't find something on the first post here, I'm sure it's on the TIA page.

Hm I just realized that I might be in Salem Friday night, and staying there. I might be able to swing down for only singles, but I wouldn't be able to give any rides. Has portland figured out a way down there? Jayce seemed interested, does he drive...?

I might think of making this tourney, I'll have to talk to my dad first though.
Good to hear you might be able to make it Red. The more people that show up the more fun the events will be, plus we really do have lots of prizes to give away.

I really want this to be successful, Timmy and Tommy, but I don't think you are getting a good vibe from most of the community. Is there anyway you could hold this off for another week? I have been trying to avoid telling you but I just found out that I have a choir concert, oddly enough, it is in Eugene and I am trying to find a way to find a way over to Springfield. It's like, I am so close but I just can't find a way over.
I think, by law, the school will have to keep me with them, I am trying to find a way to see if I can just drive myself instead of taking the school bus and then I could escape easier to at least to singles. We have to practice at 8:00 AM in Salem, we leave at 10:00 AM for Eugene and then the actual concert is at 3:00 PM. We might be given 2 hours for lunch and I might be able to escape then, not sure. The problem is, I will need someone to either pick me up and take me back or I will need to try to find a way to drive myself.

try to find a way there yourself. tell the school you ahve a doctors appointment and you will have to leave shortly after the event. school cant argue with your health, and you dont even have to bring a note.

The only bad vibe is the Portlanders acting iffy. Come on N-Oregon, step it up! No johns. The tourney is in three days, that's plenty of time to organize rides, raise funds, and have loads of fun. If CA and WA can do it, OR can.

Also, I saw the Binxster tonight, seems like him, Jayce, BC chris, and some others are all interested in going up, but I'm unable to provide rides. So if anyone in portland is avalible to provide the rides, please speak up. I want NoOr to give cali & ohio (although...since the people nature slayer is bringing go to school in oregon, I don't know if anyone besides him is from ohio...) a good smashin.

Question, what time will California be there? I will be in Eugene tomorrow at noon. Would you mind if I came over and played some, Timmy and Tommy?
So, I have a choir concert at 3:00 PM on Saturday but we have a rehearsal at 12:00 PM which I cannot miss. Is there ANY way we could do doubles first and singles last like usually. I could definitely do it at 4:15ish PM. I really really want to be there and I will be sooooo close to where you guys are, if you guys cannot move singles later then I will not be able to come.
Here is my schedule for Saturday:
9:00-10:00 AM -- Choir Rehearsal at Salem
10:15 AM -- Leave for Eugene
12:00 PM -- Required rehearsal in Eugene
1:00 PM -- Lunch break for two hours, I cannot leave Eugene for during this time.
3:00 PM -- Concert at the Soreng Theater, Hult Center

binx, juce, lucius, bc and myself all want to make this from noregon but no ride... wish i could make it, but its just not going to happen...
gage and ryan would probably be able to make it for singles if there was vehicle leaving later. i think the only viable situation at this point is to pay minh for transportation and his time, but thats going to add up and noregon is poor. plus it would take lots of convincing to get him to do all this.

Ah, this was a nightmare trying to communicate with everyone and Smashboards being so unreliable >_<;
I am completely willing to try to schedule things to help Dukipedia and Peach Master + Ryan out.
Also, I will try to help pay Minh to pick up N-Oregon, because the only thing keeping you from coming is a ride. Just tell me how much and somebody GET IN CONTACT WITH MINH. I don't have a lot of contact info and t1mmy has been good talking to whoever he can, but I need Minh to bring MCS and the rest of N-Oregon.
Ohio said they could possibly fit one more person into the front seat of the front car, so it'll be a bit crammed, but they might be able to bring one of you.

Tommmy are too good. It is too bad this was overshadowed by the Finger Bang just because it was oddly placed a week in front of this tournament.
This is getting too close, personally, we should be making a better effort to show a good time to the many out of staters coming. Tommy has been planning for this for two months.

minh wants to go, but is still uncertain, which means he may need a little encouragement from the community. his plan is to convince mcs to come since it will most likely be his last melee tournament.
