I personally won't be back in Portland until the 23rd, but I would go if I were there.

BTW, is there any new information, Peach Masta, on the tournament you're planning?

Delphiki: There was a group of SoCal players like Neighborhood P, Mikehaze, Mango, and a few other who I heard were interested in coming, but I heard something about a Texas event on the same day, since then I haven't had any concrete confirmation since then, so I have them as unconfirmed. If they are driving northward you should contact them and see about what their plans are, or go to SoCal and hitch a ride to Texas with them X^)

Great to hear Ohio will be coming to this. Also, keep all posts pertaining to this event, if you want information on Peach Masta's "The Jiggs" tournament, all information on every Oregon event you'll ever need is in the OSM thread: http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=66978

And, yes, everyone go to Fingerbang as well, Idaho will be there (/shameless plug)

I have a little bit more access to the internet, but little time----I UPDATED THE FIRST PAGE ON THE SECOND POST!

I updated some info on my second post as well.
Highly suggested that you check out the tia page. That has a lot of important information.

Ah ha, now I have more plentiful access to the internet, so I will be able to do better updates n' stuff. Just that it'll have to be on the second post, because Foosy's is the first, but that will be for general information and won't need to change.

Everyone should check out the tia page I made for it in case you haven't yet.

Also, MENU SUGGESTIONS? I hope I'll have enough cash to cover deposite, prizes and any food wanted as well.

Springfield is pretty much Eugene except without the artistic scene and spiked hair.

We would, but then we'd have to physically move the venue to Corvallis. Wait... you don't live in Corvallis, BC...

General info
I'm glad everyone liked the venue we got for SF:E.
And, yeah, Corvallis is out of my jurisdiction in a manner of speaking, someone make Kenpachi host a tournament there sometime soon.
Fingerbang got me psyched for another try at first. I'm just hoping with FB being rescheduled the week before this that anyone would have gotten burned-out on Smash. Unless Date is still set for this weekend no matter what and I'll just hope everyone has their rides and enough money to enter. I've been pushing for attendance, so I'd be willing to cover costs for anyone I can.

Attendees
1)I talked to a number of people at Fingerbang and they said they'd be able to come, and good news on more attendees. I'm trying to eradicate the johns, and I'm still hoping Foos can make it, even though he said he's got schedule conflicts :^(

2)There's been a ride request for Mayosan, a SoCal Peach player. He is currently in McMinnville, anyone happen to live nearby who can give him a ride? If you need his address, post here (or OSM), PM me, or give me a call.
Anyone else who has problems attending, please TELL ME. I will try to get you here.

3)As far as I know CA and OH will still be coming. I'm going to get a super-confirmation even if I have to call. I can't say for sure if WA is coming, as this conflicts with Gameclucks. But maybe after winning over $300 at Fingerbang it'll get Shane more interested in coming ;^D

4) I'm either worried that everyone will bail out on me or there will be too many people and not enough room X^D

I find out thursday if I don't work.

I think I'm most likely going to come, but if I can't get short hopping down by Sat I might be discouraged.

I like how I am semi-confirmed without even posting. Yeah, I'll try to be there. Funny thing, I will already be down in Eugene for a choir concert. However the concert is a 6:00, I think, so I hope I won't miss singles. You can count me as confirmed.

I just realized that I am one of the most active people in Oregon. This is good.

Ach, double post.

I really am excited about the events from what I have gathered from what hints Tommy has told us.

SATs should only take until like noonish. You may not be able to do singles, but doubles would still be in the time frame. Unless they've changed the SAT into an even bigger torture test and made it 8 hours instead.

t0mmy on t1mmy's account:

Dukipedia: You didn't post it, but you told me in person you'd try to make it. And you'd better, no non-posting johns :^p

Jank: I'm really hoping to see you here, you surprised a lot of people with how well you performed at FB, hope you pull another strong performance here, I'll add you as unconfirmed.

Peach Masta & Ryan: Try to make it for doubles & crews, you guys are good at doubles! And crews will be fun! But I'll put you down as unconfirmed seeing as you might not be able to make it to all the events or any.

Mike: omg, I hope I get to stalk Tofu this time, I missed him at NUB. Housing, and complimentary breakfast will be made available, there will be fold-out chairs (it's held at a club-house), but if you really want, we can drag the couch in, or make do with a setup at the couch just for you. Breakfast will be vegan, as is tradition for feeding SoCal in Eugene (coincidentally, eating Tofu and Mango would not be vegan).

The attendee list is misleading. Make an unconfirmed and confirmed list instead of dropping asterisks by unconfirmed people. If you want to show their location then just add hyphen next to their name and say SOCAL or whatever.
Is this gonna be at that one place the last SFE was at(I think?)? In Springfield?

I think it is atleast a 6 hour test now a days...

Also...even thought I'm not sure what my schedule is going to look like, I think I'm going to end up having girlfriend/poor kid double johns.

Yes, Josh it will be the same place as SF:E Winter '07.

Guy, you gotta come. This tournament is going to have a lot of emphasis on fun to go along with the competition. Plus, on top of the usual prize money, there will be lots of prizes given away to all attendees. It will also give you a chance to play with some Cali folks. :)

t!mmy would we be able to get housing from someone in Oregon? We would have at maximum 5 people.

Personally, it would be better for me, and it looks like SoCal too, if this was next weekend. I can't find The Jiggs thread, when is that? Can someone link me to it?

Just to let you know, I don't have very much monies either. So, I might not make it. I'd love to, but I don't know. I have to check my schedule as well.

I love how Norcal is planning a trip to this and it's gonna have like 6 entrants from Oregon.

What are the payouts like? 70/20/10? 60/30/10?

Also, $10 enters all events? If that's right, how are the prizes split? That seems really low.
