Daisy and Lucina DEFINITELY have that “rivals to frenemies to lovers” feel, with the “shallow” Daisy helping Lucina with stuff like fashion and pulling her out of her comfort zone. When that happens and Lucina gets out of her shell, Daisy notices that Lucina is witty and strong and they start having this amazing banter together in a great display of frenemies, before they know it they’re basically best friends that complete eachother in meaningful ways.

It’s the “popular girl/shy girl” dynamic, basically and they would be great lovers! If you’re into poly ships, I’d add Dark Pit there as the grumpier but more chaotic middle man.

If you’re not into poly ships, I think Lucina and Dark Pit work well as exes that got together for a bit during Smash 4 when they were the only newcomer clones.
