I don't what all of em means, but...

Definitely Best friends (one can consider em almost sibling like due to their franchise history).
Basically Pit's the often-upbeat one while Samus is usually serious, but commonly soft towards Pit. Both easily respect and care for each other. At least I hope I got that right... it's hard to explain, but I can say Pit's personality does help Samus warm up to him.
