Contrary to popular belief, Captain Falcon learned many of his techniques from Ganondorf, but joined the Smash Roster much earlier. Even the legendary Falcon Punch is an alteration of Ganon's Warlock Punch. Captain Falcon is one of the few heroic types Ganondorf respects as well for this reason, and secretly would prefer if he instead of
defeated him even.
