Smash Scene in Florida?

I hope this thread is posted in the appropriate place. I wouldn't want to clutter this well organized tourney forum. Mods: help me out if necessary.

Anyway, I'm going to be in Florida for spring break until next Sunday and I was wondering how good the people are down there. I'm definitely trying to make it to at least one tourney before I leave. Is there anything coming up in Florida? I can't seem to find anything. I will be in the West Palm area. I can't wait to introduce some Floridians to some NJ metagame ;)

Um... Florida is very good at Melee. They're pretty good at Brawl too. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Regional Zones are your friend <_<. Don't know about anything going on in the West Palm area. Florida smash is tightly focused around our major Universities. There's a group of smashers living within 40 mins of the school, then hours of pretty much nothing, followed by another group of smashers around another school.

Anyway, don't be surprised when you get beat by our players. Florida's pretty legit.

I fixed it for you :p I'm sure most groups of competitive smashers have something to bring to the table.

Also, he may believe he is dark, but he is actually Dark blue. ;3 HAHAHAHAHA. I need to go back to floridah.
